Petes probably sick of me by now haha

I brought my car to AMEC for the first time and got a lot of things done that I've been meaning to do for awhile now. :zlove:

Pete and Mick sat there and listened to me go through like 2 pages of things that needed attention and we discussed everything.. and I mean everything! :p It took like 40 minutes of their time:eek:  I'm very fussy when it comes to things on my zed:zlove: :zlove: :zlove:

The guys at AMEC are great and now with Pete there its probably even better.:)
I haven't ever received service at this level before for my car so its great to finally have it.. :D :D

I get my car back tomorrow or today now cause I'm a forum slut in the wee hours..;)

Highly recommend ANYONE in QLD with a zed to AMEC..wish I'd gone there earlier..

I know it's somewhere around $1.5K for a good mechanic, and it's about $8.5K from the wannabe!!!  Now that I think about it, make that $10K... I paid the prick for the service before a meltdown about 50k's down the road!!!

You could add brake fluid to that list. But if you don't know the service history it wouldn't hurt to do a full 100k service, cost about $750 for the parts.

Spark plugs aren't hard to get to, you just need to pull the coil packs out (two bolts each) Then you'll need a longish extension for your spark plug socket cause they're in there pretty deep.

Things are looking good for ZX service and repairs at the moment!

We have some good guys in Qld, and in Adelaide we have Adelaide Z Cars who have just finished off my car and believe me it is driving beautifully and is nothing like the car I originally purchased!

Perhaps we should be setting up a member suggested and vouched for database for people who are new to the ZX, I see so many people asking about who they suggest to do this and that with their ZX.

I know that many people do their own servicing and repairs, but for me that is not an option, I am glad that Zorro put me on to Adelaide Z Cars.
