.......:zlove: If so I can't speak highly enough of the guys at AMEC in Brisbane. Karen just got her Zed back from them and it is sweet as:) They did a great job on the 100K, service and many other small jobs that needed doing, plus they were spot on with some trouble shooting.:) It is a fair drive from Woombye to Capalaba, but well worth it for us:)

Here is a photo of Karen's Zed - 2+2, TT, Auto.

    ......the cost of the paint......

.....is anywhere up to $1,000.00per litre,  but fortunately I bought the car from Japan for Karen already painted like that, lucky, huh?:D

yeah isnt it 500 a L minimum for that paint, thats minimum colour changes.

hmm i browsed amec's site, and every thing is so much more expensive then everywhere else?

i hear alot of great results, but atm ill be doing most the work myself and would just be purchasing parts, and their website looks abit exy!

    How much?

Does anyone know how much they charge for services?

I just got a new Z32, and I'm deciding whether to do it myself or just put it in.

It's not how much they charge....

It's more like how much is it going to cost if you take it to a what-a-be Zed mec and he f#$%'s it up.
I don't mind paying for quality work & piece of mind!! But if you can do some of the work yourself than thats even better & if you get stuck you wil find all the help you need here. These guy's are more than willing to help with ?'s.:)

    Service...

Ok, well I guess I'll give it a go myself. I have done and still am doing a lot of major work on my Z31, as I don't want to sell it with anything not working. Just had to pull out the radiator due to the most common problem of overheating.

So I just got a new Z32, and don't really know much about it's service history. The guy said he had it regularly serviced, and it looks to be in pretty great condition but I thought I'd check it out myself. What do you reckon I should look at?
    I was thinking:

Change the oil & filter (is there a way to inspect the filter to know if I should change it?)
    Air Filter
    Flush Radiator
    Oil & Filter
    Clutch fluid and Power steering

Anything else I need to worry about?
Spark Plugs? I heard these are really hard to get to.

Also, what kind of oil should I use?
    Seems like everyone likes AMSOIL
what kind should I put in my 89 TT?

    .......I suggest.......

.....Amsoil 10W-40 High Performance:) If you are doing track days I would use 20W-50 Racing Oil.:) However, zed4life had some interesting comments on that subject in the "for sale by business" recent AMSOIL thread:) It may pay to ask him:cool:
