great turn out today...well i dont know how good a turn out usually is seeing as how this was my first. just like to say thanks mark (zed4life) and pete (fleet) (and everyone else who put in their view on things) for helping my out and showing my the ins and outs of my engine. my car feels so much smoother now and acceleration response comes on instantly rather than a hesitation just from cleaning a few connections. . very happy with how it turned out. i woke up at 530 this morning in my tracks just to clean her for todays event but it was worth it. last but not least thank you greg (pexed) for hosting this event, service was great...and thanks for being so understanding about all the steering fluid i left on your brinks im sure it was a pain someone please post pics NOW

Excellent day I had a field day on my Zed. The new spark plugs (iritop7's) have made a huge difference, and I have been able to turn the boost back up again. Stu's Fan shroud is in, new bling feeder pipe and an oil change. Cleaned some connectors up too. I was too busy with my own stuff to offer too much help to others, but you all looked busy. Most of us were heads down-bums up all day. Hope you are all ready for Warwick now, and also I hope you did not go home hungry Thanks all for coming, although we were down a few on numbers from those who pledged attendance. I was looking forward to looking at FATEs AAC valve, "where were you Sean". Thanks my parents for catering, also to K-Zed and Zed4life for your Guru-ness (new word). There is no suck thing as too many black zeds!! I couldnt get there till 2 (dam work), so by then everyone was wrapping up, but i had a good afternoon (well half afternoon). didnt have time to put in new center bearing but oh well, ill live. thanks to al for adjsuting my tps, at first my car was acting a little funny on the way home (idling at 2000rpm) but towards the end it was all good, its running better than ever :zlove: .
a zed day, full of tech stuff and heaps of fun... greg and tammy again turning on hospitality plus, caitlyn organisng all sorts of things ... and to our caterers, again they turned on a top spread .. top stuff...aren't grandies great .... and wot to say about lights .. !!! .. thanks heaps to dink and k-zed for practically rebuilding "those" lights .. how about the foresight of dink ... ?? how did he know the globes were set on nsw daylight saving time, that they would not work in qld .. and then whips a couple of new, working globes (qld variety) out of his back pocket ... finally we got to meet with scumpy from hervey bay .. those lads had a very long trip to the tech day ... via a few detours ... lol.. good stuff, scump .. also good to meet mr g ..and other newbies, too ... thanks all for a fun, successful tech day ....:zlove: :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
I'm so annoyed I missed this!!! I had to work last minute and didn't have time to post a 'won't make it' at 3am thismorning when I got the news!!! I was also looking forward to showing off my new Sabre water temp gauge which is in the place of the stock one (Thanks yet again to Pete and the AMEC guys). Apologies again for not making it, hopefully I'll make it to SEQ MM.
Sorry I missed it... A last minute suprise party was organised for my uncle, which was in turn ruined by the passing of another uncle of mine anyways. Next time for sure.

Bleeding Brakes What a PITA. 3 bottles of fluid was required to completely change the fluid. Thanks to Bones for his help pumping away at the pedal for what felt like an hour. I was getting as sick of hearing "up........Down" as you (and everyone else) were of hearing it. Took the car out to and industrial area tonight and did some emergency braking. Brakes are good so far, very controlled. Will have to wait till its wet to check them out properely. appologise if i have left any oil or fluid stains on your driveway Greg. I tried my best to clean up. Great day, heaps got done amongst us. GO THE BLACK ZEDS. We are taking over as the best color. There must have been 6 or 7 at one point today. Thank you Tammy and Greg for the hospitality and Baz for the cheap arsed Pinot Noir. We will have to pick up skidpan DVD's some other time. It was great to catch up again and meet a few new faces. hey guys! its a shame i got there so late it looks like i missed out on all the fun stuff :O thanks a million to mark and rob for running data scan on my car, and fixing the boost leak, and fixing the headlights...and everything else! thanks to Z-toy for resoldering in my DET sensor thanks to pex and tammy for a great day! lol yeah it was great to meet some of the forum members... and my god seeing the zeds in person; priceless. couple of my mates wanted to come so i thought it wouldnt hurt, lol one had the time of his life- i let him drive mine home (since ive had a whole of 5 hours sleep in like the last 5 days!!!) he was SO EXCITED adrenaline pumping, he was going nuts... he now wants a Z. haha the whole day he was so amazed as to how kind and helpful everyone was. wish i coulda been there longer tho, shes a doozy of a drive tho, ended up gettin home at 8 o clock. but man its so sweet having my baby off safety boost again, and being able to drive her at night! it was bloody awesome to have a day off uni and do something fun, and it was sweet as checkin out all the zeds. p.s. my mates girlfriend got all excited and wanted to come when she heard there was going to be heaps of zeds there, she wants a green one haha... funny thing is her favorite car was marks... purely because his boot was empty and tidy! aaaah easy to please huh. im sure im forgetting something to say or someone to thank, something like that.. but hey ill keep yas posted. p.s. how sexy does my baby look in them pics~!
Thanks to the pexed clan (Greg Tammy zedete and family) I had an enjoyable day helping other people fix little niggles. It was good to see the old faces and zeds again, I have missed so many events lately. Well soon as the zed is finished I'll be ready for the next event probably 3-4 weeks.
