    Yeh, Subaru rack, possibly MX5 too.

    When considering an engine don't forget the transmission. Unless you want to run an auto my choice would be an LS* for a na, a straight six if you want a turbo. Turbo V engines can get difficult space wise, the S30 is not that wide between the chassis rails.
