did you check your plugs? what was the gap at. see jamie he has new coppers there you can buy then gap em to .8 and give her a little more boost
Hmmmmm, this does seem odd.... 100% guarantee the car has had no issues since its last run at the drags. My best run was a 13.2 with stock turbos, 20" rims and no leader gears @ 14psi from memory... 12.8 with Leader Gears + MT Streets + 15psi + Stock turbs Could be the EBC maybe...? Not sure if the duty cycle etc was set correctly. I assumed the tuner would have sorted that out...? Anyways, again will vouch for the wastegates being adjustable as I personally watched Chris ensure they came on at the same time and made some adjustments to ensure they did... <-- If that made sense.... lol As for the Npower dumps/front pipes, made a freaking huge difference I found... Chris can also vouch for this... Picked up power no doubt... Sure it has to be something silly tho with the losing power issue at 4500rpm... Get some colder plugs too dude! Got some 7 heat range plugs if you want some... Lemme know...
Hmmm few more thoughts/guesses on the loss of power at 4500 rpm... - Fuel pressure set up high enough? - Assuming the turbs would be in full boost and maybe restrict the fuel delivery as positive pressure may restrict the flow from the injectors? - Plugs cold enough? Or maybe not gapped correctly as Chris said... Maybe blowing out some spark... - Wastegate adjustment? - EBC settings <-- My money is on this one...
im guessing your boost is dropping off. you might need to adjust the duty on the ebc. get a mechanical boost gauge and video it next time you go.
Hey mate, all is well. I'm just going through the moves of diagnosing it. The 14s run could also just be that I'm terrible with the auto box (been a few years since I had an auto). Pulled out the plugs and she's running 6's (copper), checked the gap and they're at ~.8mm (32/1000 inch). Might take you up on the offer of the 7's, mate unless I can grab some from repco. I've set the EBC to 56/10, which pushes her to ~15.6psi. Haven't fiddled with the wastegate actuators, so unsure on the likelihood of that being the issue. As for the fpr, i'm unsure of the fuel pressure requirements under load, so any advice would be very welcome, along with info for the adjustment of the malpassi.

Alright, got my goodies from CZP, and ztoy has informed me that the 2k mod-spec front bumper is being shipped this week. Unfortunately I bought a gauge pillar pod from CZP, and like an idiot didn't remember they would be for a left hand drive.. sigh Either way, goodies!! All the moulds for over the top and under the windows Also changed the third brake light panel over for one I grabbed off minivan. It has a small crack in it, but at least it's in one piece. On a funnier note, I saw this lovely piece of artwork while I was at Murdoch university last night:
Okay, so I've neglected to update this post in a while... Car is currently awaiting a new gearbox after I smacked into a block of wood on the Perth December cruise (woe is me). Picked up another box and I'm hoping to put her in shortly. Other than that, She's now sporting a ztoy-spec front bar, and a new third brake light panel (hooray!). Will give a detailed post in a few weeks.. been too busy to really look at the car recently. What I can say is that ztoy's quality of work is amazing, and the front bar is sweet. Fits around the front mount with ease, and looks beautiful. Anyone considering one should be aware that it's an excellent purchase
Okay, updates! Finished my thesis a few weeks ago, so to celebrate, the car is currently in a few hundred pieces for a manual conversion (woohoo!) - seats out, dash removed, plenum off, gearbox out, auto shifter pulled, and more! Going in: Late TT manual gearbox (from Mr. TT - should be a decent upgrade!), F1-Racing Stage 3 Clutch + TT Flywheel NA Clutch pedal (who needs a clutch booster? ) Leather seat covers Genuine 2k rear lights Twin pod filters New foggies + darkened front indicators 6000k HID kit A nice thick helping of chassis underbody rubber to cut out some of the road noise New knock sensor and more that I'm probably forgetting Considering shoving the spare NA rear subframe I've got sitting here into the car... but I'm somewhat 50/50 as to the necessity for street driving.
hey please tell me thats not the stage 3 clutch from the states mate If it is the clutch plates are fine but pressure plates can leave a lot to be desired

Anti, The results you got with that product on your pain job was outstanding. Do you think it would only be suited to dark coloured cars though? As my zed is a pearl white and i'm not sure if i'd notice it as much? Cheers, Jamie
Hey mate just need the time to do the work. Show the paint some love and you will definitely reap the benefits. White paint looks great polished up. A lot of the time you don't notice when it tarnishes from lack of polish due to how light it is... But you will notice how good it looks after a decent polish I guarantee it.
