I too am out. Am going to be playing cricket during the cruise times and cricket trumps cruising as long as I can still roll my arm over

Caught up with the FS thread today. If your new Zed doesn't blow smoke, I'm killing myself :zlove:

On another note, stuck on my HeroCam mounts today. Word is, these suckers DONT come off....lol

Will also have suction cup mount for in car footage, and may limit thse external mounts to low speed sections, allthough I tested the high mount up to 90 kph the other night.

Top mount looks mint when window is down and targa is off. Can see the road AND what's going on in the cabin





Have emailed Tom to make sure he's happy with logo being in shot. If not.....time to peel some stickers off I guess. :zlove:

Slapping my zed back together to hopefully make it on the weekend. if i get my auto sorted im there..

 

the high mounted one on the right didn't vibrate at all even at 90kph which suprised me.

Not sure how the lower one will do as it's mounted on the side skirt. Im suspecting the skirt will actually be the weak link and cause a bit of a wobble. SHould be fine for cruising around the car park though perving at all the zeds

Hopefully I'll get chance to test before the cruise. Too cloudy today so couldn't be arsed.

i have a mount for my cam i found the other day, made from a side mirror so its bolted on nicely and you can control it some what.

and if your ninja fast you can catch it if it falls off

Being fish eye, the HeroCam is designed to be "fire and forget" though. No need to control or check. Just press go and enjoy the drive

Downside is audio is crap. Sorry i dont mean crap. its UNUSABLE. On a car, it produces the sound of elephants with the runs, during PMT, having seen a mouse, while on LSD.

Also being the standered deff HeroCam, while those stills above look "ok", the video it takes is pretty shit. I'll get a HD one some day but waiting to see some good TRUE examples pop up on youtube, not the "pre-production" crap they show on the website.

**** knows what the elephants youve seen look like... sure they aren't a waterfall? I can see how you can get them confused

also if you want a pair of side mirrors and mounts to mess with I've got some you can have. Then put a wired mic on itand you can give commentary

 

I did mean what things sound like from INSIDE the elephant.

No woooosh from this cam. More a kind of wet RUMBLE

it sucks hole (and records the sound it would seem)

Will be testing the 2nd mount point tonight so may post a demo WITH the "sound"
