LOL I did not have to try that hard actually.

Thought I would just get on here and say a big thanks to JP for letting me have the drive of the slot car. His whole crew of staff, friends and family are just so nice to be with.

The car still has so much more left in it. Just need to tune the chassis a bit more as I think there is a 1.13 in it.

One thing for sure is that it does not need more power. Well maybe when we change the chassis!!!! The car was struggling to cope with the power that it had..seriously :biggrin: You should have watched how big some of the marks were that I left on the road

I was kept pretty busy on the day as I was also driving the little S2000

All in all it was an awesome day with some nice, close racing. It was fantastic to finally see the UAS-mobile in the flesh and it was great to meet a few fellow member there too. Thanks to Ron and Caz for making me feel so welcome! You New South Welshmen seem to be a nice bunch, and I'll be sure to meet up with more of you next time I'm up in Sydney.

Was glad to see the marshals didn't need to unleash the fire extinguisher after your car stopped. What was the problem, and what caused all that smoke?

Shifters Zed...beautiful pic

I know its not Petes anymore but its a very special Zed and I will always see it as Shifters Zed. :zlove::zlove:

Started its life as an Aus delivered NA and was transformed into one of the countries most powerful (at the time ) Twin Turbo Zeds.

 

Glad you enjoyed it Tony , smoke was just a backlash of oil going the wrong way
through the turbos, heads and every other hot nook and cranny.

Hey Pete all good mate, she gripped up just after that shot and fired me across the
inner rumble at the apex, backwards, and stalled on the track.

 

It was good to see shifters old zed on the track and boy was it quick.
