LOL I did not have to try that hard actually. Thought I would just get on here and say a big thanks to JP for letting me have the drive of the slot car. His whole crew of staff, friends and family are just so nice to be with. The car still has so much more left in it. Just need to tune the chassis a bit more as I think there is a 1.13 in it. One thing for sure is that it does not need more power. Well maybe when we change the chassis!!!! The car was struggling to cope with the power that it had..seriously  You should have watched how big some of the marks were that I left on the road I was kept pretty busy on the day as I was also driving the little S2000
Hey Bozo Nice to see you made your way onto our friendly little forum, Not as noisy or as boisterous as the skyline one. great to see you throwing the Slot car around on the weekend, especially loved the drift action. great feedback for JP to further improve the beast. Love this pic of the short way over the flip flop.
You mean this You mean like this Bozman. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/Peddler/penlington.jpg

Pics, pics and more pics Okay, I finally got some time to post these up, so enjoy. Those with dial-up may want to look away... JP's awesome slotcar: Even after I told him that brake dust made race cars look tough, Wizard insisted on sprucing up the slotcar : Ports getting loose: Yep, time attack Landcruiser. Go figure. The owners of these two Victorian GT-R's just happened to be staying at the same motel as I was. Nice guys. An S14 Silvia racing grip style just seems so wrong... The Brandster Motorsports GT-R was seriously quick... ...as was this one: The main reason I came up from Melbourne: Russell Newman's R35 GT-R One seriously quick S2000. This won the Clubsprint class with John Boston behind the wheel Ben Ellis's beautiful 240Z. You may remember him as the former editor of High Performance Imports magazine. VTEC y0: the fastest FWD was this CRX All in all it was an awesome day with some nice, close racing. It was fantastic to finally see the UAS-mobile in the flesh and it was great to meet a few fellow member there too. Thanks to Ron and Caz for making me feel so welcome! You New South Welshmen seem to be a nice bunch, and I'll be sure to meet up with more of you next time I'm up in Sydney. I've got a few more pics up on my site, so click this link to check em out. Hope you like!
Well done, some awesome action shots with plenty of attitude. Pleased to see I had my eyes open sliding through the dirt.
That was a pretty awesome spin Wayne. Very spectacular from where I was standing Was glad to see the marshals didn't need to unleash the fire extinguisher after your car stopped. What was the problem, and what caused all that smoke?
Great Pics Tony Awesome one of wayne playing in the dirt, And that awesome landcruiser, wondered how the "big red" skyline lost its side skirt, now i know, Great to meet you and hope we catch up again.
What great photo's Tony! It was lovely to finally meet you especially at such a brilliant event. God I love that R35GTR.... just need someone to photoshop Z35TT into the steering wheel and front grill Happy you got to meet Russell too, such a genuine nice bloke. If ever you want to photograph a DA round let me know. Final round is at Oran park Sept 20-21. Caz..
Shifters Zed...beautiful pic I found this gorgous pic of Shifters Zed at Superlap. I know its not Petes anymore but its a very special Zed and I will always see it as Shifters Zed. :zlove::zlove: Started its life as an Aus delivered NA and was transformed into one of the countries most powerful (at the time ) Twin Turbo Zeds.
Ben bought that car from a mate of mine when we were in high school -it was a rusty heap of shit back then (my 260 was much nicer haha) good to see it in better shape. What does it have under the hood? Back then it had a Stewart Wilkins Rally built L24... interested to know if it's been upgraded.
Glad you enjoyed it Tony , smoke was just a backlash of oil going the wrong way through the turbos, heads and every other hot nook and cranny. Any other shots of #61 ?
wow awesome pics, awesome cars, now THATS what I call a track day!!! hey Wayner did you end up going on the merry go round after you put the wheels outside the ripple strip? everything ok with you and the car?
Hey Pete all good mate, she gripped up just after that shot and fired me across the inner rumble at the apex, backwards, and stalled on the track.
Hey, that guy crouching on the tyre wall is me! Man, it looks like I'm taking a dump too, how flattering...
