Artists got sick of designing, so now they're just bored using old designs but dicking around with them in photoshop. A groove here, a groove there, a random line here, change the headlights... Done! Sort of like Nissan and this here 350Z II! lol
That's pretty much what they already are, it's hard to flow it right. It's more the internal framework that makes it look shitty, like a $50 tent from the camping store. lol The BMW concept thing is pretty much the same, just shiney.
hmm... i agree..... but i think its worth a look at. the BMW concept material was more stretchy and flexible than the horrid stuff soft tops are made from. With some curved rails to form the skeleton, ........well anythings got to be an improvement
The problem with their "concept" is that utimately everything is going to look the same, so what u moved the line there and changed this and that. At the end of the day it's the same shape, just moved around. Think of it like a random car design generator, they could just bang in the data and let a computer pump out a thousand variations etc Sure they all LOOK different, but they're really not at all. A soulless car if you will!
totally understand that...... but im saying the SKIN MATERIAL CONCEPT could potentially "improve" soft tops forget the whole car thing... just using a more flexible skin on the SOFT TOP part, with a better shaped frame. nothing else... just the roof......just...the...rooof.......... better...than......current......softtops.....in "theory"..... "potentially" understand?
