Old versus new parts started arriving today surprisingly. new links are massive compared to the old ones. now just waiting on my new whiteline sway bar and in she goes pic of the old crappy HICAS setup compared to my new shiny lock bar and new ends.
Opinions vary BUT mine is they are rubbish and from experience lead to increased vibration in the drive train which doesnt do the engine any favours. There is way more gain from the pod filter than from the UD pulley without the downsides of the pulley.
from reading about it the vibrations come from alot of them if I can feel it then I will be rip it off as i've already spent the money on it and an underdrive belt kit.
Personally had no bad experiences with UD pulley's. The Black 2nd last Black Zed had one and no issues with vibration. Well that I could notice anyways... The resonance argument regarding snapping cranks at high HP levels is a different story and I can't comment on that... Having said that, I'm installing a UD pulley on the current Zed... I'll let u know if something goes bang

New Parts make me happy Alloy Radiator New clutch fan, underdrive pulley belt kit, Bypass hoses and heater hoses New rubber on my 18's Im still waiting on over 20 parts to arrive at my door. Makes me angry sometimes and then I see new parts and realize why I wait. but come on the sooner they come the sooner they go on!!!

In some ways it was a good weekend in others I didnt get as much done as I would have liked. but never-the-less here's an update Did the timing belt new tensior pulleys seals and underdrive pulley New water pump and bypass hoses Removed the spring and pin from the Power steering pump, devaned it and fitted new pulley Removed auto flexplate Got my new HD clutch Picked up all the bolts needed to get the manual conversion bolted up BIG THANKS TO GRAHAM (Tektrader)

More update FMIC fitted just need to go and get some new silicone joiners in black and paint the new pipes black to go with the stealth look Cut the Reo to suit aswell And Fitted my new whitline sway bar which looks great Tomorrow Turbos manifolds and dumps are getting fitted up to the engine
