    totally agree, i think i was just unlucky. i really want to drive a zed with a new 98+ model gearbox and if i like it, then im buying one :)

    even so, id still like to see what icers aftermarket gearbox is :confused:

    PPG make some nice gear for the Z32 and while it is expensive, it's well below $20K!

    I am eyeing off z Helical Synchromesh kit, but probably have to let that one wait another 12 months or so....

    its still not an aftermarket gearbox , modified stock is a different thing.

    Ive asked a few times in a non smart ass way what exactly his heavy duty aftermarkt gearbox is

    Ha yeah me too...

    Wouldn't call PPG modified stock though; new gearset, with no synchros needed, new billet mainshaft and new billet selector forks. Only thing stock is the housing.

    Agree new hollinger set would be the way to go in a "money no issue" build. If only!

    it is a reco box. had noisy syncros. zshop built it. swap over was quick too. it is now strengthened thats all. replacing somethig wiht somethign better other then OEM is concidered aftermarket after all.

    anyways just wanted to post threa up about updates on car. feel free to lock it mods.
