Yeah my commenting on you 300ZXC was because everytime I saw a post from Icer, it was almost guaranteed to see one from you straight after ....almost like your only reason for being on the forum was to stalk Icer's posts and flame him for anything and everything...maybe you should stop surfing the forum at work

I've already been "talked to" about surfing facebook/aus300zx at work haha. I'm at uni now, so I can do what i want!!!

 

Was pretty rich pickings. Only took 10 mins and I only had to go back 4 months using search to get some of those GEMS.

Nice figure. Did you do all the work yourself or was it done when you bought the car? Also, was there any particular reason you went with TD04's and not 5's or a Garrett Turbo?

Outside looks good, except the eyelids don't suite a 300zx and they look tacky imo. You're covering one of the best exterior parts of the car, the headlights! And yeah, some nice jap wheels, dump it, and it will look mean.

Do you have pics of the interior? Looks interesting from the pics above...I would like to see more...

yeah I've met Icer too, and one thing I wanna say mate, is that while this forum isn't "real life" - it is still a facet of life and a means of communication between members who don't live close to each other, what you write in here still potrays the person you are in "real life"

I'm just re-stating what some of those above me have said, but like most people I think the figure you've made with your zed is fantastic, I'll never have a zed that powerful and while I am not 'jealous' - I do admire the awesome amount of power you're making. The things that ruin it for you are the constant bragging and assumptions that we are jealous etc etc. We know you didn't actually do any of the work yourself, while yes you did pay for it.. we all could do that too.

This forum is here for communication mostly, and not so much for bragging and put-downs. Yes I am definantly guilty of slagging you off on these forums, you generally brought it on yourself. The same goes for most people who 'abuse' you in these types of threads.

And your cars paint and kit are also look great, but if it were mine, I'd change the wheels and lose the eyelids.

stock gearbox with redline oil i think

 

engine bay looks stock bar the chrome intake hard pipes. gearbox is aftermarket. was looked after by zshop of course. and yeah redline in there.

I got the td04s for a good price minimal fabrication.

Also ill get some interior shots soon

 

there are no aftermarket gearboxes available unless you dropped 20k on a hollinger. and im sure u didnt

 

Maybe he got the 6-speed HKS one?

to give him the benefit of a doubt, he could have the OS Giken gearset or maybe his gears and shafts just got cryo treated. I'd also like to know what aftermarket gearbox he has because I think we can surely say its not one of the expensive ones and i want a cheap aftermarket gearbox (as long as its stronger than the stock box).

icer, take the abuse with a grain of salt and keep on going. i love seeing fast zeds no matter who's done the work on them and how much BS they like talking about them.

 

stronger that the stock box? how often do u hear of someone lunching one of these? apart from syncros wearing out after 20 years. that doestn count

 

I "lunched" a tooth on my first gearbox when launcing at the drags . syncros were perfect when i took it apart but a tooth on my main shaft had sheared off

 

thats unlucky, it may have been chipped or cracked for a long time though, i just said syncro's because that is a common failure i see.

without talking about US cars, there are alot of local zeds that have done dozens or quarter passes with slicks on a stock box.

stock rebuilt is as far as id ever go
