Aahh, my friend, if only you sounded as good as your mellow exhaust...!!! And/or looked as good as Caz....:D:D
So great to see Lynn finally able to get out and about with us larrikins.:D
Thanks all, who were able to attend, for a great day... t'was my first for a while, what with all manner of Zed niggles, and I realised just why I put up with all the mechanical niggles and hassles of Zed-ownership - it's got nothing to do with the cars, it's the great people who you meet and mix with!!!:):)

That was written way past your bedtime, you "young hooligan".... are you too tired to think properly after all that driving?? What's wrong with building one yourself...?? I'm sure you probably have, but if you don't, I can always drag my MIG welder back (for a while, anyway) from that industrious Marcus Ambrose-lookalike (Wokburner) and you'll soon be able to save those weak old legs from all that nasty walking... I'll even help!!:bash:

You are lucky the cops didn't spot you...

I had a vid camera in my hand while driving, and an unmarked police car drove past and they pulled me over. I got a nice verbal warning haha (that I caught on camera :p)

My credentials go back to the go-kart I built for my kids to learn to drive.... ahh, the memories!! The thing used a self-ported Briggs-Stratton (used) 2-stroke lawnmower engine with outboard motor 'pumper' carbie meticulously ported, proper kart racing slicks, and fitted with huge torque-producing exhaust... (paint was a bit rough - pretty much like my current efforts!!), but it could sure GO!! This tiny little 125cc 'lawnmover' was able to out-perform the commercial McCulloch karts of the day at the old Granville track!! Then, the Zed took over...:D:D

An interesting thought (young) mike, but I am wondering whether I have too many projects on the go at this time to take that on, at least this year (maybe you do as well  :bash: :bash: :bash:). I bought a MIG welder a few months ago, and from time to time I have a go at learning how to use it. At this time my welds would be plenty strong enough to hold say a coat hanger (without the coat). :) Building a buggy is a fun idea though.

C'mon Baz, I'm a bloody Gemini... you can never have too many projects at the same time!! 'Specially now after looking very hard at those headlights of mine and realising why I've only ever seen one set on eBay... the bloody things are not only bug-eyed, they're cross-eyed!! The lenses don't point straight ahead, nor all towards the left slightly, as you might expect, but RH lens body points right, and vice versa. And, it's not my 'glassing... I just extended and shaped the rounded corners. That'll give me something to work on to straighten and change the shrouds for a more integrated look, while we build your Buggy for Lazy Buggers. At least now I shouldn't be blowing all those tailight resistors...:bash::bash:

A-B ... just spend the kids inheritance ... and buy one

of those u-beaut QUAD buggies .. reckon they would be a lot of fun on the farm ... mate of mine has one on the NSW south coast ... he disappears for hours on it " inspecting the property" .. lol...

    P.S. what a fun thread ...!!!!!:D:D:D

    Hi all,

Geff love the vidio and the choice of background music

Only one comment comes to mind as Tim commented, and that is that you all must have been "born to be wild" a bloody long time ago.:p

Anyway it looks as though you all had a great day as always on one of the cruses. Hard not too when you gave great cars, but more importantly great friends to share the day with, sorry we missed it. :zlove:

Lynn, esspecially great to see you out and about again, hope to catch up soon.:):)

    Cheers
    Ellie and Tim
