Since everyone else has an update thread on their rebuild project, thought I might aswell post up some snaps - I'll use this thread for my entire project, so please keep your replies on topic, thanks!

Subs

Just finished the subs off yesterday, making those enclosures took about a week, but I'm stoked with the result... I wanted OEM/sleeper kinda look

 

wow...how much of the sound proofing was needed for the car? did you do the doors too?

 

DUDE!!! you crazy mofo thats extreme..!!! better add more boost 2 counter all that extra weight... hope you cut some nice slots so you ca change your fuel pump in the future!

That was about 2.25 boxes, the other 0.75 of a box that I have remaining should do the roof and 2 doors.

so how heavy's a box of the stuff! I know it works accoustic treats though looks kindy weighty!

 

Each box does 3.3 square meters and weighs about 10kg (approx.).

WOW i REEEEEAAAAALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY love the subs positions. i think it is VERY unfair that you havnt put progress pics up of the sub enclosures???? dooo showwwww thats awsomeee... show me pics of the enclosures them selves. are they wood? fibreglass ??? infoooo

Upholstering

A little while back I re-did my seats with some leathers that were cut and stitched in China that I bought in a GB quite a while ago - and more recently (a few weeks ago) I re-did the tweed trim with some fabric I bought at an upholstery shop, it's all going together with my black/red theme
