ok you guys i got some pics but i don't know how to upload them theres an icon to says insert pic but then it says upload pic from a website. But i don't have any pics that are uploaded up a site but on my pc. How do you do it as i got some picks to help you guys see what my problem is
yes i have checked my tire pressure they are perfect, um now this car when i fully flaw it. It goes just over 7 revs, iv''e been researching around. And that some after market performance chips make your car break the rev limit and can do 7300 RPM. By the way my cars an auto and its does about that much reving. I don't know if the previous owner installed 1 but seems likely could that be the reason why it eats petrol. Noticed these kind of chips need to be set at 15 degrees exactly so maybe thats why also. Not sure it its has been done but where do i check if one is installed. Because if im correct these chips are ment for turbo cars only. And without the turbos connected and with this chip. Wouldnt it just be overfueling since its progamed for the turbos. Ive driven a NA 300zx and it does not rev up to 7 revs. Nor does my turbo version do 7 revs. Its also auto and it revs up to 3 revs then changes into next gear. Sorry guys i cant post up any pics as there is no way i can get underneath my car and take a pic. This car has been lowered so much its just stupid what the guy did. Do you know where i can buy cheap coils, so that i can raise this car but to normal height. As this bumper has too much damage on it as its been hitting dips and bumps alot. I bought a veilside kit C11 to spice up the car for cheap and it will simply just break if i put it on since its 2 low to the ground. I could be wrong with the chip causing the problem, i had 1 guy look at my car today good bloke. He checked on laptop to see error problems and it seemed ok. But he said he noticed that my right side 02 sensor probably needed changing. So having 1 not so good sensor would that eat alot of petrol up. Hmmm heared it would cost me $100 to get a new sensor. But guy said to me i can use a ford O2 sensor in it and cost like $20 or $30 from supercheap i think he said. Is that true
haha a ford 02 sensor... NO !!! take some engine bay pictures and post them up!!! might tell a better story
actually, you're totally wrong for (once?) Tektrader has successfully used the o2 sensors form an EF (might want to confirm that) ford falcon before with success. You only need to lengthen the wires with the old wires from your o2 sensors. And remember you must crimp them as they cannot be soldered apparently.
Am I correct in that you have to rev the car up to 7000 rpm before it changes gear all the time ? No wonder it eats petrol then. Your gearbox is busted and your engine is going to disintegrate soon.
I think he means it's over revving to 7300RPM? sounds like the auto is working fine changing gears at 3000RPM. If his turbos are 'disconnected' would the rev limiter / fuel cut or whatever work any differently?
