man they stripped it to the bones, i feel ya dude, if that were me id seriously belt the F**K out of them and make sure i stripped there clothes off and let them hang naked haha

 

that is just wrong, hope you catch them. I don't mean to sound harsh, but usually when this stuff happens in such a way as in your case, it is someone who knows your car or has heard others speak about it etc.

good luck with it though, hope their turn comes one day.

 

well i am still in Melb and wont be back till the weekend so i havent even seen the car in the flesh yet. as sad as it is i guess it gives me the excuse to start the mods i had in mind

Why were they so selective ????? Let's assume one of 2 possibilities:

1) Parts they can sell easily.
2) Someone has a Zed they want to upgrade.

Rims - what cars do these rims fit ??? Zeds (obviously), Skylines, 180/200SX, AU Falcons, what else ???

Seats - Why steal the seats ?? - They are tweed cloth presumably - unless in a Zed, to any Zed owner they stick out like the proverbial ?????

parcel shelf - Do you mean the cargo blind ?? What other cars does this fit ??

Rear 4 post spoiler - Is this distinctive on a '94 post Zed ???? What else were these released on ??

front bumper and nose cone - This is even more surprising as the N/A front bar is not a sought-after item. You can have mine for free !!! and the centre-panel is not expensive. Why steal these unless to fit on another Zed ???

Stereo - standard thief stuff.

Clothes and stuff - no comment, although interesting in that I wouldn't wear anyone elses clothes, so what were they used for ???

Overall, it's almost like these parts were hand-picked, or perhaps a bunch of rampant bunglers attacked a Zed and took off with random bits pieces without logic. If the former, look for a Zed with your bits on it. If the latter look for someone becoming increasingly desperate to offload the harder-to-sell items.

Then again, I could be completely off the mark.

the AFM is missing too if you look closely at the nose cone area. on the 1994 model the seats were actually velour not the tweed cloth

 

Sorry to hear that sort of bad news, hope someone local to you get offered the parts and you catch them that way.
What sort of alarm did you have on the Z?

Good point. Were these type of velour seats fitted to other Nissans ??? ... if not, even less common !!! (although maybe just looking for Zed seats.)

And why steal an AFM ???

I'm not trying to skew this, but it just seems to me that some bits stolen were a bit too specific.

.... and (sorry to add to your emotion) the other thing I can't quite understand is why it wasn't burnt ... why not ??? Doesn't seem to fit the typical m.o. of an experienced car thief.

Feel very sorry for you man. Especially since ive seen your car couple of months back when i was looking at buying my own zed, if im not mistaken u advertised to sell it, so very sad to see the state it is in now.
Did u have insurance ? what is going to happen now ? are you going to try and put it back together again or...?

 

when i get back to qld i will have a closer look at it and will probably put it back together

Appaling mate, ive had my share of thieves in my time. But what happend to u is low real low. Just the other week similar scenario happend in Albury/wodonga (VIC/NSW border) My mate had his van broken into and 2 competiotion dirt bikes stolen and remains burnt worth 15g a bike. Fortuneate for my mate Dan his dad's a sargent and pretty much arrested the guys for it in a matter of days they're serving court next month for it and facing jail time and charges etc.

Hope you get your vengence if your that type coz i know lol i am. Revege is sweet and if you need back up just holla!
