What? Sure, it would keep out water, but wouldn't that heavily restrict the amount of air actually getting to the filter?
I havent been able to get too much done recently due to my day job been totally chaotic over the last 2 weeks. Its very close to been done. Ive just got to go over it a couple of times and make it absolutely perfect before I make the mold.
Its been a while since updates but im happy to say that I have started the mold. Tooling Gelcoat was laid down this arvo.
2k is higher at the front. Stops it banging on stuff They are acutally higher than my one as the stock one has a little cut out on the front lip for extra clearance.
Latest update. I have now leased a workshop to make the spoilers and bars in. Mould has been completed and production will start next week. The first 2 bars out of the mold have already sold. I will close this thread and start another when production commences. Other projects mold for carbon fiber bonnet for a KE70 corolla. Why would I make a bonnet for a keetoe you ask? 1. No one else has 2. my new race car. Plan is to give it a full cage, R31 LSD rear axle/diff and an sr20det Chassis has already been modified to run s13 coilovers. Not bad for $50
Its been a month since my last post and I'm happy to say that the project has been a success. Mold is complete and I have pulled 2 front bars out of it and it is working well. Here are some pics of the first spoiler that came out of the mold. The only issue I had was that the indicators were a tight fit. Nothing a quick hit with 40 grit on the air sander didnt fix. For the earlier question that Mclovin asked. This bar is fitted over the stock intercooler ducts. All I had to do was place 2 slits on one side of it to allow it to shape to the new ducts. All in all, I am a very happy boy. Cant wait to get the respray done. :zlove:

Not limited. I will try to pump out one a fortnight along with all the rear spoilers and whatever else I end up making. Im gonna start a new thread in the for sale by businesses after this weekend. (got tickets for gold coast 600):br:
