Time... Could be just condensation then. Especially from not driving it for months now. Does it look like vapour? Are the exhaust tips wet? Remember, the car hasn't been run for months now...give it some time. Rob.
yes they were wet mate, i havent driven it at all, just went 500 meeters and came back, got worried about getting the yellow sticker
Re: Smoke. Yeah, then sounds like the white smoke is condensate if there is water beading on the exhaust. That water is causing the smoke. You may find that after driving for a little longer, as the exhaust and engine warm up fully, the smoke will go away. It doesn't help that it's really cold weather right now either. I wouldn't worry about it mate. It's normal in cold weather...if it was thick white smoke which hangs around and billows out, then you might have to look into something... Cheers Rob.
thanks mate cheers lets hope thats the probs,no should i say no problum, lol,it would be ok. cheers Rob
No worries. Go for a few good hard runs with her and let her settle in and adjust to her new changes. Don't be so worried...! You must re-kindle the lost passion from a 3 month absence. Stroke her hard...then soft...then hard again...she'll love you for it... - Oh yeah, make sure you drive the car also... Cheers Rob.
agreed the engine hasn't turned over for a while. When it warms up a bit (aka not :30 on a .7d day) run it for 10 mins then do a lap round the block and see if there is less smoke... when mines been off the road for a while the 1st run is always abit cloudy.
