I knew someone's zed that did the same but he had a dead cyl for a bit due to no spark and all it was, was fuel all through the exhaust. could it be over fuelling? is it burning all cylinders when driving? Sounds like it needs to be tuned. You got the ecu and bigger injectors so its probably dumping alot if fuel. Does it smell strong of fuel?

Chances are you are overfueling. Pull the coil packs one at a time and see if you have dropped a cylinder. Other than that, the tune is a stock one modified for 555's so it wouldn't be overfueling because of that. Do you have any fault codes and are the injectors brand new?

    fault codes

according to datascan where 02 sensors (1 dead, 1 ok) and detonation sensor, so makes sense that the car would be overfueling.......

Yeah if he's got a 34 then he'll be using the low octane maps.... hence the definite overfueling problem. Combine that with 555's and you may aswell just pour fuel down the plug holes. :)

O2 sensors wouldn't over fuel that much.... It'd run rich but wouldn't cause that much unburnt fuel...

P.S. AK, I hope you don't have new cats! :p

is it definately white smoke? I thought white smoke is water, blue smoke is oil and black smoke is fuel

generally.... however LOTS of white smoke can be fuel....

easy way to tell is to use ur nose , if it smells like fuel and ur eyes are stinging , most probably unburnt fuel.if it smells sweet could be coolant.
If u get black smoke it is fuel thats already burnt.
Def check to see if it firing on all cyl , do a load test to be sure.

    Settle...

The car might just need to settle. Since you've done a lot of changes in one hit it might just blow the smoke because of that and then after driving her for a while it might settle and clear. If you can't smell fuel, then I'm not so sure it's the tune or injectors. Is it thick white smoke which hangs around or clear thin smoke which disappears quickly?

    Cheers
    Rob.

the car wont blow white smoke if it's lean.

    Black or Gray Smoke
Smoke may be coming from incomplete fuel combustion

    • Clogged air filter
    • Carburetor, choke, fuel injection or emission system malfunction
    • Ignition timing off
    • Blocked manifold
    • Oil leaking on exhaust system
    --------------------------------------------------

    Blue Smoke
    Engine oil being burned

    • Oil leaking into combustion chamber
    • Worn piston rings, valves or cylinders
    ------------------------------------------------

    White Smoke
Coolant and/or water being vaporized in combustion chamber

    • Engine too cold (no repair needed)
    • Head gasket leaking
    • Cracked block or cylinder head

has the car ever blown the turbos and dumped oil into the intercooler piping? oil can pool in the intercoolers and cause smoke.
