i agree with the blue and orange

from the nascar design that cresta is referring to
it's the ultimate

in terms of which panels should be which colours, try the orange on the front bar, nosepanel, bonnet and then toy with top of windscreen and maybe front pillars

the rest being the dark blue (not too dark, but i can't find an example of it - can you john?)

in my opinion, the 2 tone falls down on the rear hatch panel, the line it makes at the back of the car doesn't look very good...

 

Yep thats mine, don't ask me why i did it because i bought it like that.

But i'm used to it now and don't mind it.

I have thought of doing this also Scott...

But I'd continue the top layer colour from the bottom of the side mirrors along to the headlights. Would look a lot cleaner that way.

 

we tried to continue the line from the mirrors to the headlight

we looked into doing that but you could not pick a line that would suit. And not only that but the fact the the panel itself has no preformed body lines also makes it quite difficult as the edge of the black would not look crisp.

You would have to get somebody to do maybe a pinstripe to cover up that change over.

 

Yeah I had a look at that idea and didn't think it would work too well
