Can't see the police having a Kelvin meter

And as long as they are aimed well, they should not provide any dramas for oncoming traffic.

the pic is just a pic, unless you see every colour by your real eyes, the 3000k is kinda like pure golden and 12000k is pure purple not as the pic shows, it's about photography stuff. ppl in perth can come around and i'll show you the real thing against the pics.

for the retrofit, i can organise group buy for projectors form AUDI A4 OR A6 OR BMW 5s, even the dual beam projectors,YEP, DUAL BEAM, with normal single beam bulb you can get dual beam, but retrofit is a hard work and not easy to DIY.

yes they are illegal but if u don't blind the cops, they won't find u trouble. coz if u adjust right they looks all the same as honda accord.

By dual beam do you mean Hi and low beam in one or two low-beams next to each other?

    Yes, High and Low beam

They're called BiXenon. There's a mechanical shutter inside the projector that will flip to provide a high beam. There is a BMW E46 type BiXenon that can do this, however the overall size a bit larger than the single Xenon E46 unit and will not really fit easily into a Z's housing. I believe my HID Projector thread gives a list of the various projectors out there. If not, I can cut-n-paste the applicable thread from HID Planet.

I'd have to look back to the thread i got that from but i believe it was an S2k projector. It was just a comparison to show the difference in putting those HID kits into a Halogen projector as opposed to installing real HID projectors with correct D2S or D1R Xenon globes.

The Transflective display is still supposed to be the top drawer 7" display. It works amazingly in any daylight condition. The Transflective was destined for install into my MX3 but now those plans have changed. For myself, at this point and now with acquiring the Z, I want to go the DWW-650 route so that I can take advantage of the double Din and more importantly, the AM/FM feature. To some that may not be a strong issue where they prefer to play videos and music from their hard drive, but I will want a blalance of that with the availability of having AM/FM. To those ends, I would sell the Transflective at a loss so that I can get the DWW-650. If you're aware of anyone wanting a top line 7" display, let me know. I don't think anything larger than a 7" will be suitable for the Z. Since the normal Din width's lends itself perfectly to a 7" display.

Yeah, I know about bi-xenon's. I just wasn't sure if he meant that or four normal HID kits with no high-beam. That's what i definatly want to do. Just will be a big job modding a projector to fit in the stock hi-beam position I think. But will look oh so nice. I've seen all the projector types in the HIDplanet FAQ. That's why I liked the S2k to be honest. Such a nice beam and cutoff pattern. I'm just trying to find a bi-xenon projector atm that will fit the best.

Of course the cheaper option to HID's which still looks good is the HIR bulbs. Basically they reflect IR back onto the filament which causes it to need less power to stay hot and gives a longer life and brighter output.

I cleaned my low beams with

compressed air, but it made no visible difference.
The lens stills looks a little opaque rather than clear.
I suppose disassembly of the headlights would be required to facilitate proper cleaning.

    Hey PEXZED,

Is there any chance of a quick how to in terms of installing these? I bought them but having some trouble following the engrish instructions...
Pics would be good, did you need to buy any extra connectors?

    Thanks

    Warren.
