    Hey bud,

yep...harnesses have been ordered should have them in a few days. I'll send out an email once I have them all in hand and verify that Nissan shipped me the right harnesses. Don't want to be sending you the wrong year...could be very costly in getting corrected. From there I will begin to see who is near who and combine shipments if possible and ship them out.

Shoot me an email if any of you guys have any further questions or info for me.

Just a tip/some tips for those about to install a LHD harness to a RHD car:

Set aside a little more time than you would expect.

Remove you stock harness in one piece.

Lay the two harness's beside each other on the floor in mirror image so that you can see where the critical differences are.

Squeeze the sides of the loom to figure out where the join is on the plastic conduit, with a very sharp craft knife (brand new blade) cut through the tape only (be really really careful) so you can remove the insulation etc as required.

Now you should be able to move the loom around so it is exactly the same as the RHD loom except for the excessive length you will have on the inside of the firewall.

Obviously if you are careful you will be able to use the plastic conduits again & the thermal insulation etc, you are going to need a roll or two of insulation tape though - spend the money on good stuff it's worth it!.

Most posts I've read about LHD looms in RHD cars make it seem like you can "just poke the extra loom through the firewall"
Well after just fitting one myself I can tell you there is a bit more to it than that.
You are still better off with converting a LHD one rather than making a complete loom using new plugs & wire etc, just set aside some time to get it right though :)

    It fits

With no BS and is the right length, the LHD needs a little encouragment and is a bit longer. RHD are all but impossible to get these days....

    Hi,
are there any updates on this? I haven't received any email.

What is the reason for delay on LHD Wiring Harnesses?

    Regards,

    Hey guys,

Seems my DNS isn't working properly. I've had issues the past two days with other customers not receiving my replies. I've tried sending you (4 individuals) the emails but I end up getting an error send message back to me.

So I'll post up here postage rates for you guys.

    Express Mail? International
    3 - 5 business days $96.00

    Priority Mail? International
    6 - 10 business days $85

I'm at work now but I believe all of you that locked into the GB are located in Aussie. The shipping price for each package is listed above. Those of you that are on this list, shoot me an email at tech@epracing.net and let me know which shipping method you prefer. Method of service is via USPS postal service. If you wish to use a different carrier please let me know via email. I will gladly get you an updated quote from another carrier but be advised that the pricing goes up as everyone else is quite a bit more in price compared to the postal service.

Sorry for the delay. Someone had emailed me about this and I've been terribly busy both at my job and getting my shop facilitated. I don't mean to drop the ball so to speak in getting you all your parts but I'm playing stretch armstrong in getting everything tied together. its a lot of work but I want you all to know I'm not skimping out on you guys and want you to know you will be taken care of.

Well due to extreme heat under the bonnet mainly the electrical connectors attached to the loom can become brittle and break whenever you unplug them etc.

Also on extreme cases I guess over time the electrical wires may become fagitied. perhaps thats a rare occurance.

I believe theres no more RHD ones available from Nissan for TT ??? So LHD can fit with some surplus cable lengths. So theres pressure to buy these before they run out or else you have to make your own cable and if you have spent time renewing everything on your car or rebuilding your engine why not a new loom to be 100% satisfied.

Apart from that if you dont have any issues with your current loom not sure if its totally justified purchase besides the piece of mind.
