any news from Nissan on the 97 TT manual harness

 

I'll call again this afternoon to inquire. It all depends on when Nissan gets back to the parts dept with the information. Sucks being on the tail end of things.

one for me too, just need a part number to make sure i'm ordering the correct one, thanks.

 

part numbers won't be needed as when the GB is closed...and I go to collect information...one of the bits of info is your production date. That isolates the correct EFI harness for that vehicle.

i have the 89 300zx fairlady twin turbo 2plus 2 does the harness fit this model? as it is ment to be the same as the 90 to 94 model

 

Waiting on Nissan still. Parts were ordered. Waiting to hear back from Nissan on time delivery and so forth.

are we still waiting on nissan , or are we getting ready to post, or where are we..........any info appreciated, even if its to say that no progress has been achieved.

 

Nissan here in NZ says the harness has been discontinued
Maybe they will make more if you order 20 or something?

 

Received an email after I contacted TECH@EPR. What does everyone think are people prepared to by LHD version?

Hey Stephen,

I got an email yesterday while I was asleep. ( I work nights at my reg job so I sleep during the day). When I originally submitted a request for the RHD harnesses they (Nissan) came back saying they were available. So that is when I submitted the thread group buy on these items. After the list was fulfilled and everything was moved forward I made the order, to only have an email sent to me saying the RHD can?t be had at this point in time. Nissan doesn?t list them as an NLA part (No longer available) but they made it very clear that they did not and won?t have these for some time.

The upside to this is that the LHD EFI harnesses work quite well and actually have about 5 extra inches of loom which can help you guys out with an install if you plan to run a few additions in the engine bay that require your harness to have more length. I?ve spoken to Nissan about this as well as RHD owners to verify the legitimacy of this and they all have come back to me saying that LHD harnesses will in fact work but that there is just an extra few inches to be had to tuck/hide or lack there of.

So in sayin, I am making a email this afternoon with all the members who paid to have one of two options. They can opt for me to fulfill the order and receive a LHD harness and on a future purchase they can receive a discount or I can refund their money in full and no ones out anything. Those are the only two options I have at this point in time. I?ve been at the mercy of Nissan with information and I certainly don?t want anyone to think I skipped town or lack there of with their funds. Everyone whos paid has their funds still sitting in the paypal account for easy refund if need be pending their decision on accepting the LHD harness.

Get back to me when you can regarding this.
