Thought a shot of the surf wouldn't be out of place for the cruise location :p
    [IMG]

Pretty sure this guy wasn't part of the cruise but he was snapping shots of every Z rolling by, so thought I'd 'snap' back :p
    [IMG]

Random Porsche parked at the end of the street we all parked along...wasn't the best framed shot, Kra4sey gave some good advice on how to make her look good...crop time ;)

    Wow.

All awesome shots there Craig :). Brilliant!! There's a big difference to just pointing a camera and shooting compared to actually taking the time and get the perfect shot. And not to mention the post photo touch ups. Great work :)...

Absolutely fantastic photos Craig. I am very impressed with your work. I feel my photos are a bit plain after seeing yours. You have found the perfect angles for every shot and I hope I can use similar techniques in the future to create the same style photograph as you have.

    keep up the good work.

Ah, so it was your son Kingy 'snapping' away...now that I look closer I can see the resemblance to the photo of you both sitting at the bench eating lunch...upon first inspection, without getting to close to the monitor I thought it was some random asian that just happened to be there with his DSLR as we all drove past LOL

Thanks guys for the compliments, I do try to get interesting shots and it seems to work most times...beware though that this was a selection of 61 photos out of 534 shots taken for the day...the beauty of a DSLR over the old film SLRs :p A lot of them were completely useless photos when trying to get some decent ones while driving along the GOR, even some when stationary weren't the best..but every shot taken is experience going into the next shot ;) I also get good bits of advice from Kr4usey whenever we go out shooting together which really helps improve my shots...so my advice is, if you want to improve your own photography - make friends with a pro photographer :D

And yeah Kingy....here's the photo I took from the 2008 GOR cruise :D...taken with my then 4MP Olympus C770 (now retired since we got the Canon 450D)

How keen would you be to take some shots of my zed after the roof wing goes on?

i think the photos on grass make your car look deceptively low bracket, its low but the grass ones make it look like is resting on teh ground, the road pic looks much more normal

    Hey Bracket,

I would love to take a few shots for you but I live in Bendigo, about 1.5 hours from Calder Park so I can't exactly zip around for a photo shoot ;)

I would highly recommend you contact KR4USY (who lives in Melbourne, was on this GOR cruise :)) if you truly want some pro photographs of your Z to keep and cherish into the future. Checkout his website to see the kind of shots he can pull off and what kind of services he offers. You'll even see my old R32 GTR on there in the automotive section of the portfolio area :D

Thanks and no worries...I'll see if I have any other decent photos of your Z from the cruise shots and pop em up as well if I do. Shoot me a PM with the link of the photo your going to use and I can send you the full res. one if you want?

I must say, you've got a very photogenic Z

    Hey Liam,

Tell your mate he takes great photos, really like some of the action shots...this is my favourite, got real attitude to it

If it had a little more space to show the Z's nose with some empty space in front of it and wasn't taken from behind a window (speckles can be removed in photoshop though with a bit of work) so it was a bit of a cleaner image, it would be puuurrrfect! I'll be adding this shot to my repertoire :D

Oh and I got your PM, I'll try to shoot through the image tonight.

    Cheers,

    Craig

Thanks for the pics Craig :)

The one you picked out was his fav as well, even with the same flaws you mentioned. My fav is of Graham behind us looking pissed off that he can't overtake. haha
