Depends what you see Crispy it the anti whip collar is to prevent kinking and there to comply with section 15 also as mentioned date of manufacture is definitely required. These lines were form overseas, and I guess England and not bought through Australian distributor, who sells the ADR compliant version. Looks like you have one swinging now. I don't want to cause trouble, I am only the messenger. I only mentioned this point as it was compared to our Goodridge lines and stated being the same, but clearly not.
i took mine to a roadworthy place and he said he would NOT them so i went to another place . some one i know well ,,, and he said the same thing , that he would not pass them ... one of the reasons is that they don't have mounting brackets in the middle of the two front lines ..... both said that they are NOT ADR approved....
No swinging John, sorry if I come across that way We have estabilished that these lines are different to yours, I completely agree on that point now. The AIS COP details a way that AIS's can inspect cars to conform that they pass the relevant ADR's. With ADR7/00 being superceded the new ADR will be used, again I will draw your attention to this part of section 15: There is nothing stated that they must be manufactured to prevent chafing, kinking etc, just installed to prevent that from happening. I would suggest that the roadworthy places that badxtc has been to are not fully abreast of the changes to the ADR's. Another point that this raises is the brackets in the middle of the front lines, the ones that UAS sell do not have these either... Nor do any other braided line that I have ever seen. Your thoughts John? Is there something available for this, if so I would love a set for mine :zlove:
Not a prob Even if items pass when technically they should not it is not a problem unless your car gets defected adn requires further inpsection which varies in levels and states or if someone is injured in an accident then it hits the fan. Not sure what the go is with the braket and we use P clamp to hold onto the strut on our race car.

I got the same result badxtc I took my goodridge braided lines to work and showed them to 5 head mechanics who all have road worthy licences. All of them said that its an instant defect and don't even think of putting them on my car. Their main concern is the lines having no ferrules. They also said 'there is no way in the world these are ADR complaint.'
thats whats going on man u should tell them that i was waiting for u remember,so u can come and get the money and drop the lines and then u contect me after a 3 to 4 weeks later,man dont do that,i thought u ve changed ur mind, i ve pm u about the lines just give me couple of weeks and ill refund the money. chees AK
