    Latest news

I have been in contact with the supplier and they are out of stock of the bars. There will be a 2 week delay while they are manufactured. Because they were not in stock I had to order a larger batch than the numbers in this group buy. There will be around 19 units spare after they arrive if anyone else wants in on the buy.

If anyone needs their bars quickly I have a few sets left in stock.

Fronts are a tight fit, you may need to cut the fuel line as required. Mine was about an inch too long and stuck up over the brace. Be warned that some bonnets will connect with the braces, i had to cut a small section out of the insulation matting, and lose a plastic pin to stop it rubbing. Not a big deal.

The rears you will need to cut the interior panels - see above. Very nice fit. Not hard to do if you own a jigsaw. (if not they are $30 from Big W).

Fitted both fronts for myself and SIM300 in about a half hour. Rears took longer cuz taking all those panels out is a bitch, plus cutting them, and then getting the piping to fit well... Half a day job if your pedantic.

can the front bar actually be fitted with the throttle cover in place?
I don't really like the "nude" look

No, you will need to cut it in half and trim it down, if you do want to have some cover on there.

hmm...I seen some pics of engine bays with the strut brace and the throttle cover still intact. anyone know what brand those would be?
