hey, HOK (House of Kolor) Violet Ice Pearl.... can you tell me a bit about this paint... ive got a few projects on the run and the commie is in primer atm . do you think i'll have to reprime with a hok primer and use a hok clear or whatever you you could tell me would be appreciative..cheers

To tell you the truth, it makes no difference as to what paint you have used when adding an ice pearl as it is in powder form (and yes I have been told this on the side from certified HOK painters )

You add it to the clear, the finish is amazing.

 

Damn, sorry to hear the project fall through. You sure you dont want to just leave it in the garage a while and come back to it? Nothing worse than parting it out only to want it back again in 6 months

Update on what has been sold

The following items are no longer available:

Ab-Flug strut bar - sold
Door fillers, side skirts and rear valance - sold
(I still have the front bar and the nose panel for sale now)
Block and heads - sold
hicas bar - sold
zees mufflers - sold
polished water pipes - sold
illuminated rear panels and kick panels - sold
border 850cc injector kit - on hold

Just wondered if you or anyone could please tell me where I could some zees mufflers in the same style?

 

Your best bet would be to find a set off yahoo japan and have someone import them, or direct from the zees website although I believe they are a crazy price, something like $2000 AUD + postage, duty etc and you would have to get someone to call them to see if they would ship them out here.

 

Update

Clutch is sold along with all parts for a manual conversion.

Wheels were spp for $3300, but sale fell through.

Likewise with the brakes $3250 - were sold pending payment to an R34 owner who worked out that he will need new wheels to fit them.

Still deciding on whether the car will be parted out. I am looking at prices of around $5000ono for the entire car with the complete interior/exterior trim (minus the gearbox) and all the rest of the engine bits and pieces.

Engine pre-lube kit is spp also.

Will let the brake kit go for the same price - $3250ono
Likewise with the 18" meisters - $3300ono

I would also sell both the set of meisters and the brakes for $6000 if anyone is interested.

Found my HKS type-1 turbo timer with harness - $100 posted.


If anyone is after body panels/interior trim and I get enough interest I will part out the rest of the body and just sell the rolling shell. Email preferably as I can check that more often than the forum - details are in first post. If I have received enough interest in random parts I will part it out and create a new post with everything in about a week - two weeks.

In a few months we are moving house so I need to move this stuff out of here.

18" Work meister S1's with new tyres on the front and semi-new rear tyres (see top thread for sizes etc)
Brand new third brake light
Full interior trim (all in excellent condition)
custom sub boxes (they are pending a payment so if they sell they obviously will not be included)
all other bits and pieces i.e. piping etc
(no gearbox or engine obviously)

nb: missing front bar - would also need the rear hatch to be sprayed and holes welded up from stock spoiler and side skirts to cover the stone guard i pulled off.

Shell only with full interior, complete harness - $4000ono
