    Now i see the pics again they answered my question. :)

    One other thing, The new teflon scraper. I understand why you wanted to make it out of Teflon BUT as the sump is sealed with silicon and silicon wont stick to teflon. Do you expect any sealing issues ?

    No sealing issues of any kind have arose. If installed properly and ensuring all surfaces are dry and clean, you should have any issue with sealing the oil pan to the pan rail on the block. You will have to do a better job than normal in sealing because I see most just dab silicone on the pan and rail and bolt the pan down. Its very important that you use a suggested silicone. I use a product called "Right Stuff". This is a VERY strong silicone and makes for the tightest seal I've ever created for oil pans and other silicone related gasket requirements. You lay a few dabs all the way around the oil pan rail on the oil pan and on block. Smear the silicone all over to exclude where the rubber pan rail end gaskets go. On the block ensure you smear silicone around each bolt hole. After you have done this...fit the oil pan on and then bolt down. After that is done I pipe more silicone on my finger and produce a flush seal around the entire perimeter of the oil pan. If you look closely at the rear seal area you will notice I fill in the void behind the rubber seal with silicone and flush the silicone all the way around everywhere.

    Here I show how the seal should look when you remove the oil pan from a build. Notice how clean the pan rail is on the inside nearest the crankcase/crank on the block. Silicone is around each bolt hole but never to the edge on the inside of the rail. This is VERY important.

    If you guys follow this guideline I promise you, you will have a positive seal on the oil pans at ALL times.
