    Hi all,

How many people would be interested in a UAS/Ross Harmonic Balancer?

For those that do not know, these are a replacement for the OEM harmonic balancer which is lighter, has much nicer timing numbers, fully balanced, slightly under driven and of course retains the harmonic balancer as per OEM.

After much discussion it appears these are probably a good idea for big HP engines compared to the super light weight ones such as UR and GFB. I don't want this thread to turn into a fight about which is better, the merits have been discussed numerous times before and I beleive these are the way to go for a high HP setup.

Now that said, UAS in another thread confirmed they could match the group buy price from the previous run, but would need 10 people confirmed to do a run of them. Colour will likely all be the same to prevent any issues but I will see what can be worked out if this goes ahead.

These weigh 4.57KG and are Andra approved. Yes these weigh more than the UR/GFB but again those do not include the harmonic balancing which these do.

RRP is $595 however the group buy price was $450 so we should be able to match this. I would need a deposit upfront and it's likely to be the same as before which was 50%.

Pictures are below. If you are interested please let me know, I will be buying one for my car but would much rather them at $450 so lets get the numbers.

    Are these balancers suitable

for the later model Z's after Sept 93?
I'd be interested if they are.

Wow bit of an old thread.

I'd still be interested but no idea if the pricing is still valid.

Maybe also price belt set ? n/m

That smaller blue pulley is a GFB/UR lightened crank pulley which isnt a harmonic balancer. Its just to show as an example.

Belt sets you'd be best going to supercheap/repco/auto1/whoever locally.

I think I paid around $15/belt last time I bought them.

No the overdrive pulley would be additional, and if I remember right best price is probably through Caz1 or maybe PZP.

Not sure what the difference in model numbers is. Only thing I can think of is this is a custom one UAS get made up, hence the requirement of 10 to get decent pricing.

    Dynamic Listing

The above image is dynamic and I will update as people add their names to the list. This makes it a bit easier to check the list and make sure you are on it.

Also, any chance a mod could edit the original post and add the img link there.
