Itinerary.

Leaving Frankston Pier Car park at 9:30 and making our way down to Mornington turning right at the lights opposite Bunnings into Shandon St then right into Beleura Hill Rd to head around the Coast Rd coming out at Safety Beach.
Photo's and yakitty yak at the Safety Beach Boat Ramp Car Park, then onward down the Point Nepean Rd, turning left up to Aurthur's Seat Rd to the top.
After having another yarn and some pics we can head back down to Dromana to the Fish n Chip shop either the same way we came up or the back way.

Onward to Tyabb Airfield.

From Fish n Chip Shop.
Back out onto Point Nepean Rd turning right and heading down to the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, get on Freeway at the onramp (City Bound) and follow Freeway till it becomes Moorooduc Rd, keep going till you hit Tyabb Rd.
Right turn at the Tyabb Rd roundabout and follow down to Airfield on the right!

Agh, I'm torn. I really want to come to this! Unfortunately it's over an hour and a half drive to Frankston from my place, So that equals a rather early start. And I'm going to be in Narre Saturday night for a 21st, so quite a bit of that 98 octane liquid gold is being burnt already over the weekend already. And I'm going to be pretty tight on money until the various new car teething issues are dealt with. I think I'm gong to have to count myself out.. If I change my mind, I'll send you a txt Shaun.

It should take about 25 to 30 min to get to the Frankston Pier.
Do you know where Thompsons Rd is??
If you follow Thompsons Rd to the Freeway then get on the Freeway and head down to Frankston and at the end of the Freeway there is a big Intersection at the Frankston Cemetery.
Turn RIGHT at that Intersection and follow it down through to Frankston Town center, you'll go past a Fire station and over a small bridge then there'll be a set of lights.
Turn RIGHT at the lights then that goes to Nepean Hwy, It's only a short way down the road.
Turn left at Nepean Hwy and you'll see the Pier just about straight after you turn left.
Turn RIGHT into the Pier Car Park and BINGO lol You're there!

I know what it's like with the price of Fuel though (I'm lucky, I don't pay for mine!!)
There'll be heaps more Cruises though, don't worry mate!

Help out workin on someones car. Whatever needs to be done. Usually the organiser provides some food/drink and people come along to lend a hand and have a laugh together.

And i agree Graham, pretty slack. I love cruises, wish i could organise/attend more but unfortunately my line of work makes it very hard....
