perhaps if he is having trouble he should consider selling the design. i would really like a set of these but i am not goona wait months for them if I can't have them in a week i loose interest real fast. hence why when dealing with these sorts of situations I alway opt for CoD payment, I don't pay if the goods don't arrive.

 

Well, you win a few and lose a few. Good deals come up ever so often, but you have to take a chance.

there is no design, its all make a mould and then make off the mould...

I would have a go if i knew how....

 

Im just going to make my own, waiting for these could be endless.

 

Can someone else with the expertise organise to have a bunch of these built? I really want one. Been wanting one for ages.

 

why don't u make your own ?. I did and they only cost me $50 to make two -- very simple to make

 

Is there some kind of tech article to give helpful hints, either here or another site?

I will be in town in the next few weeks Peter. Maybe I can get your address so I can pick up my equipment (two front door pods and my passenger side sub woofer + postage) that I paid for almost a year ago.

Wow, this didn't turn out well at all. I kept going through page and page looking to see Peter's finished product but none surfaced.
I'll end up making my own although I was really curious to see his interpretation and execution of the 2+2 sub enclosures. More so, I was hoping to get in on the door pods as that's something that's completely beyond my creative talents.

 

John there are some on the usa ebay & 300zxclub but postage seems to be the killer to get them to aust should be better for you...

 

Thanks for that. I know of Chris's rear sub enclosures but his prices were fairly steep and his shipping was even a tougher pill to swallow.
I'll have look to ebay though since I've never seen them there before.

Its a shame it turned out like this though. I was one of the first lot to get the door pods, and they are really great products, my set of pods is still in his sig pic as a sample.

But yeah...who knows why. The products definitely would have sold well.

Well it seems that I followed through with your suggestion.
I found a thread on Z Enclosures on the 300zxclub site.
Mine should be delivered within the next few days.

Agreed Felix. I found no other threads showing those pods or pics thereof. Other than the lone pic in Peter's sig, is there no other pics available?
If I can find/get enough good quality pics of the door pods, I'd send them off to Mike at ZEnclosures in Florida and see if it's possible if he'd want to attempt a similar project. Being a Z33 (and a Z32 wannbe) owner himself, he's intuned with the unique limitations of after market parts in this area.
Felix, if you have any pics and perhaps even some install pics on your pods, perhaps you could email them to me for forwarding onto Mike. jschrauwen@sympatico.ca
