EL tape, blue and red, includes inverter

    Correct.

    I glued the old one on well. I think the EL Tape has less expansion characteristics than the panel itself. I have sent an email to Peter (supplier) to see if he concurrs, I will report back his comments. I think once the panel is re-assembled, there is little chance of movement anyway, so really just need to hold the EL tape in place until the panel is re-assembled. Blue tac may be a good adhesive for that purpose.

    Update and definately closed

    Ok definately closed with tony as the last buyer. The order has been placed, however due to the recent holdup we are definately not going to have these before the new year as we're entering the christmas lockdown period. I still think it was better to err on the side of caution and new year is not that far away anyway. I'm going to ask that the thread be locked until I have them ready to post. Any queries, send me a PM or email.

    Yeah they will be delivered next year. The order has been placed but as above Australia pretty much closes down for the next two weeks so this is going to slow us down a bit. But the numbers and dimensions are confirmed so we're on the way

    Update

    Had an email from peter at electrolminescent today. They're back at work and on the job, waiting for the US supplier to invoice them and then he'll invoice me and we're good to go.

    I think there is only 2 colours avail....that is the aqua one and the red one...........the pics i showed above was just a white one where the owner put cellophane (green) to get the desired colour....this would be great for many purposes such as ease of change of colour and also change of colour if the boys in blue where not happy.......

    UPDATE

    Just a quick update, these are on their way from the US. No idea what that means in terms of our timeframe (like how long they'll take to get here) but good to see everythings moving forwards :D :D

    Another Update

    Hi guys, just heard from peter at electroluminescent and they should have these in the mail to me on friday. From there it's just a matter of working out how they need to be packed and sending everyone a shipping cost and then I can ship as the funds clear.
