Think i'm in love! :zlove: :zlove: I hope its going to be affordable because i want it! Like the whole kit so far, but would go without the lip on the rear bar. Cant wait to see the real thing!
I live on the coast too, when can I come over ? I really would like to see it and just catch up with where its at and how you fit it etc. Cheers
This particular kit took about 3 weeks to design from the first basic illustrations to the 3D renders you see here. As for development, well, it's still in development due to some unrelated set backs. We are still confident it will be completed this month tho.
Buderim I'm sure you can understand we don't want to show it in development as we want to do the final product justice. So we wont be showing it off until it's fitted and the car fully sprayed. We'll be more than willing to show it off soon.
i like it.. how will the kit be mad exactly.. as in the front fender wil be an entire fender or are we able to buy just the front and rear arch and mould it in to our own fenders?
Can't wait to see it!!! Heya Heath... Sorry to hear about your unrelated problems, good luck with having the kit done for end 'o' September! Like everyone else, really looking forward to seeing the finished product. One question though... Like has been asked in earlier posts, I know you've said that the kit will be available in individual pieces, but (knowing very little about this sort of thing ) how well will the side-skirts and wide-body fenders mesh with other more common front bars (2000 spec, Stillen, my GREDDY front bar, etc.) and rear bars? I'm very keen on pricing, when of course you have it, but as I'd most likely only want the fenders and side-skirts, I'm worried that they won't match up with my GREDDY urethane front bar and BOMEX rear bar!? Lemme know... :zlove: Baz..... :zlove: :zlove:
hello, hello ... ready this month (august) .. and no more news since august 9 .. ???? .. update would be useful .... ????? .. .. for the record ..today is 19 sept, 2007 ....
c'mon Simon do be so quick to knock it it. A lot of work is going into this kit and as we all know work takes time
just giving him a dig as an earlier post he told me it wasnt Im sure it will happen as he has put alot of work into it,i for one would love to see it eventuate ,but like you said, innovation takes alot of time !!
Dig received Hey guys, Sorry about the lack of response, and the fail to launch...again. I can assure you no one is more disappointed about it than me, as it is my car that's under the knife. But, as has been posted, "innovation takes time", and as I've learnt, it takes 10% of the fabrication time to get 90% done, and 90% of the time to get the last 10% done. Being that I'm the designer, not the fabricator, I am not going to make any more bold predictions for when it is going to be done, as I've had egg on my face twice now. All I can say is it's so f'ing close I can taste it. News/Notes: We are not going to be launching the front bar immediately as it has been holding up development and there isn't huge interest in it. We are simply using a GReddy style front bar on the demo car for now. We have greatly improved the looks and potentially improved the perfomance with the inclusion of a rear diffuser. The diffuser sits in the middle of the bar and now breaks up what was the long shelf across the bottom of the bar. In response to your question Baz: "I'm worried that they won't match up with my GREDDY urethane front bar and BOMEX rear bar!" The front bar will be fine (obviously as its the same bar we're using), but there will be some modification needed to be made to the bottom of the rear fender arch as the Bomex rear bar has that bit of a step in it.
Hey Can you please send me Pics of the progress. "prince_ali_00@hotmail.com" Im really interested in the diffuser and the wider front fender guards. thanks, aK
Stunning Heath and i hope you are progressing with what must be a monumental task. I have never been a fan of wide body kits but your rendering is beautiful. Maintains the overall flow of the original but seems to bring it into the present as far as design goes. Can't wait to see the finished product. Tony
It does nothing for me sorry. Good luck with it anyway, its too 90's euro for my liking. I prefer a "Super GT style" kit when it comes to widebody. Eg, Chargespeed, Top Secret, AbFlug etc. It just looks like the guards have been flared.
your not the only one.....i just like the ones gonzo has but the rear bar looks a little werid on gonzos...... but hey i would really need to see this in person to really rate it.....but tops for the effort in it....and despite what i said many have shown great interest so im sure this product will kick off greatly..
