so we all have got our peepers around it ..!!! .. any chance of getting your peepers around a few of the questions posed ...???
another of the same old Qs is this going into production, if so then what sort of time frame are we looking at, what sort of price and availability interstate. Would love to here from you on these matters
i can theo lol , what all the people that are asking these questions must realise is ,this is only a concept and none of the questions can truly be answered until it has been produced ,it is only a computer generated dream at the moment
In short, yes. We will be doing a rear wing, but not until after we have begun distributing the full body kit.
Nope This is an original kit. We have taken it from the design stage to the production stage ourselves. Fitted pictures will be available within the coming weeks
Fenders will be available seperately We are aware that every one has their own unique style, and may not want to purchase the kit in full. As such, the fenders and skirts will be available to purchase separately, as will all other pieces.
We agree! Although the Beet kit has forced our hand a little to reveal the conceptual 3D renders, before the the final fitted images, we are happy to see more options becoming available here in Aus. The fenders and skirt will be available to purchase seperately for all those wanting to keep their current front and rear bars.
What Simon says it correct. While every consideration has been made to ensure the 3D render is as close as possible to the final product, it is only an Artist's impression of the kit. It is however a long way down the track further than just a computer generated dream
Correct My fiance actually We are on the Sunshine Coast, Buderim to be precise. So Queenslander's will be the first to see it in the flesh.
The air guides have a slightly larger opening than as depicted in the renders, however the width and height is spot on. The other thing that needs to be considered is that the large mouth is also a lot larger than most after market front bars, expanding further across to where the fog lights are normally housed. In regards to the rear vision mirrors, unfortunately we wont be developing these. They are essentially just ganador mirrors.
Yes I did edit the pic The flares looked like ones of a torana, but all I did was remove the visible bolts and I think it look phat.
the side intercooler inlets on the front bar should be smaller than the face of the intercooler and so that as air reaches the intercooler the airway should bellow out so that the air velocity slows down enough (larger area with same volume of air will do this) so that it has time to extract the heat from the intercooler as it passes through it. Then past the intercooler the ducts should do the opposite (bellow down) to speed up the airflow to extract the hot air out. Though the rear exit of the duct coming from the intercooler should be larger than the intake one since hot air consumes more volume than cool air. Check out indy karts and old turbo charged F1s for their intercooler ducting design - they use this principle.
Looks nice Heath and I would like to commend you on developing this kit. It is no easy feat to do what you are doing and I think its a great initiative. However I am not really keen on the bolt on over fender flare kits going around, they look like just that a tacked on part which makes the car look awkward IMO. Pete OZ300ZX has a beautiful wide kit check out his garage and as you know I am doing a once off very limited to 5 sets of the Beet kit both of which are a fully integrated type kit which makes the car look like it was always meant to be like that and almost factory in apperance if done correctly. So thats my only constructive criticism and may even look at one of your kits for my new racer. Any ideas on prices yet for the full shebang Heath Cheers Jason
Sweeeeeeeeeettt!!!!! That's one sexy piece of work... I only wish I could afford it around all the other work I'm doing at the moment... Oh, well... Perhaps another mod for the future... Can't wait to see it in the flesh, so to speak! Baz..... :zlove:
