Ok so it went pretty good but he said my boost controller is shit so I have to take it back again and they will set the Haltech to control boost. I'm thinking its the stupid split dumps causing problems though. Should of got bellmouths when I got the catback done. If they can't fix the boost control I guess I will be getting them.

Also had problems with detonation so they couldn't get much timing into it. I might start looking at an E85 setup.

Got it tuned at Godzilla Motorsport nice guys and they don't mind having a chat and explaining things to you.

Oh and the adjustable cam gears were a waste of money, he said he tried them either side and it didn't make much of a difference so just left them in the middle.

Anyway it's going back next week it will pick up a shitload of mid range power if they can get it to sit on 20psi.

He said the rpm is a bit out on the graph he was revving it out to 7400rpm

Looks good mate and yeah you are fairly limited in how much timing you can run on 98 RON.

What boost controller are you using?

    Gizzmo closed loop controller.

    WhiteNight Littering and...

    Gizzmo (ms) EBC?

What is your boost graph like? Was it not maintaining boost due to the controller or the wastegates?

why didn't you set the boost at 20psi?
if it is boost creep it will hold 20psi all the way.
its only when you try and run lower it will creep up

Yeah i'm not sure why they didn't, i think they really just hated the boost controller.

From when i was playing with it it tended to overboost as it came on boost when you increased the duty cycle and then drop off again. I would say during peak torque the split pipe doesn't flow enough so it boosts up really quick and the controller can't catch it in time.

I'm happy for the haltech to control boost it's just a pain to have to take the car back again.

from memory it was better to run boost with a controller than with the haltech .

but that could be wrong information .. will confirm that once I get it to JEM tuner

I'm running the blitz dual solenoid (last 10 years)

What split dumps are you using? I've heard people say that if you remove the divider it helps.

ams dumps, taking the divider out kind of defeats the purpose of a split pipe.

    what is hallman?

That's still a pretty good result !! I'd be happy with that and in knowing the smaller issues you have that when fixed can possibly add more or give a better power curve.

So just shy of 350rwkw. Good effort !!

Z1 adjustable exhaust gears and bde intake gears.

Cheers, I'm really happy with it. It's a stock bottom end so don't to go to overboard.

He said there is plenty in it still just need better fuel.
