Remember the quoted 30kg was for HICAS removal + lighter R200.

You should be able to get a R230 for $0 , someone will swap you the R200.

What combinations will fit the R200, I am not sure, probably a question for a diff shop.

But here's a bit of information.

PM "UNIQUE ZED" John form Unique Auto Sports, they have done stuff along these lines, he may be able to build you something.

  3. BLACK BEAST

    BLACK BEAST SLICKTOP TT R-SPEC

put the LS1 in and leave the 4.08 diff for now especially if you are using cams..change it later if you think its too short

My mate has put 3.99 and still hardly uses 5th gear

find out what gearbox ratios the 6 speed is ... if 4th is 1:1 and 5th and 6th are overdrive or 5th is 1:1 and just 6th is overdrive

    weight around
    15kg hicas
    15kg diff

ahh about 30kg isnt that bad, for some reason i thought it was like 100kg lol must be mistaking between the auto/manual boxes...

guess it all falls down to what you use the car for, how much power you push and acceleration req, balance etc...

it does still pose a threat though as the nose is heavier ....
