    or possibly the hose running to the gauge itself has been pierced on something

    These guys are messing with you.

    You get that right.

    Seriously, look over the codes Simmo listed...

    code8= faulty oil weight
    code9= clogged brake pads
    code10= faulty wing mirrors
    code12= faulty driver input

    Lol.

    What type of greddy unit was it, and why are you not testing for codes using the stock ECU diagnosis.

    the clear gauge hose you have there dude is crap. they collapse as soon as they get some heat into them . you need some good quality silicone hose/... caz has some wikked stuff.. would explain why your gauge doesnt work.

    especially being a vacuum gauge. its probably suckiing that hose till it crimps itself

    Then you should learn how to search.

    Well according to your first post:
    I'd suggest it means something is wrong...

    Try and hook the guage up with a new hose running just around the side of car or hook it up straight under bonnet to test.If the car is running o.k why worry.Maybe you will get a serious reply back from someone else soon.Maybe not lol.

    It may be some crappy code reader and 1 means there is one fault code present , probably a code 34.

    forget fault codes in your case mate. if the car seems to run ok then leave it. oh and research a bit more

    Good point, I would recommend going to the tech section and try the "Paper-Clip" method without the use of other crappy, potentially inferior code checkers. And just look for a Code 55. :)

    Agree with rollin, disregard my previous BS, take some pictures of the greddy unit's screen while plugged in for us if you're that worried.

    we wouldn't "lead you on" if you stopped making these typically useless posts asking for information easily found in the tech section or by searching

    n the tech section and in search it doesnt have a diagnostic 1
    it starts at 11....that is why i asked i wasnt creating a stupid thread as the
    machine said diagnostic 1 and clearly in the tech section, there is no such thing

    Thread locked

    Everyone had a little late night fun whilst a few actually pointed you in the right direction.

    Take time to acquaint yourself with the Tech section and FSM .... it will save being paid out and threads becoming locked due to misleading information being posted.

    Zed-related technical forum should be sacrosanct. :banned:
