Anyone traveling from the Western Suburbs to the meeting spot ?

 

I've gotta take it easy on the day. I went to the docs and had some x-rays done. Found out I've probably torn some tendons in my wrist. I've got a nice lump to show off.

I was at Sandringham lawn bowls club on Sunday for a mate's farewell. To cut a long story short, people (beer was involved) were bowling the jack down the green overarm and yelling "BOWL WARNIE"! The jack went over a fence. I volunteered to jump the fence and retrieve the ball. I didn't realise that the fence was built on the top of a retaining wall and it was a bigger drop on the other side! I hit the ground hard and landed on my hand.

I gotta strap this wrist brace thingy on for up to 6 weeks but it's hard to change gears or steer with it on. I'll be driving sans brace because that's how I roll.

I'll map the route on google maps (I know - I was meant to do it last week). You'll get it soon. If anyone wants to push hard ahead of the pack, you'll have the stops anyways.

I should still be right to go.. just finished sound deadening the Gemini, and teh brand new twin carbs on.. stereo that shakes teh brain a wee bit. All should be good by Sat! If anything goes to plan...

OK.. so just to clear this up.. how many.. in total are we expecting at this point? I will be there in either the gemini or an RX7.. depending how i go

sweet!! thats a good number.. last gemini cruise got about 15 but that was a massive rarity this will be awaesome.. just wish I had the 300 kickin!

Guys it sickens me to say this, but it looks like I won't be able to make it
It's a new experience for me as I've never pulled out of a cruise before.
The shed hasn't gone up as quick as I would have hoped and continuing this weekend

Put it this way it's going to be one decent shed once it's finished ! Will make sure to be snap-happy on the photos if I'm good to go myself.

 

Hey guys.. any of you local to Wantirna.. ive seen a couple of sexy zeds around.. one of them defected on a beige coloured one.. and also seen a nice red zed around.

- Start at Packenham Maccas 9am on tha dot! Get there earlier for for brekky. I'll rock up around 8.15am
- Cruise to Inverloch. Stop off at beach and for coffee.
- Hit some twisties.
- Stop at Leongatha for lunch.
- Hit lots more twisties until we get to the Princes Freeway.
- End at Packenham Recreation Reserve (just off John Street) for goodbyes and last photos.

About 280km in total.

Normal cruise rules apply - No speeding or stoopid sh!t.

Just to make things easy for me I'm gonna dog you guys and peel off at Morwell, can't really be stuffed going to packenham and then back which is just highway driving. Should be good fun tho, ill see yas tomorrow
