That would be about 5 hours driving for me from Thornleigh.

What interesting activities or places are there on the way ? Royal ? Nice country pub for lunch ?

That's great but what about people who live in the gong....so we drive drive to Stanwell Tops and back to Wollongong for lunch....ummmm....Huskisson sounded better! What about a drive to Kiama? Not quite as far as Huskisson....still a great run and the scenery is beautiful. That way the Illawarra zedders don't miss out on a run. Thoughts?

Hey, I have a great idea.
How about we let Lilli(Fairlady3)plan the cruise(I certainly don't mind a cruise down to Huskisson Pub, it's a bloody nice location).
We used to drive down to the ACT for the great BBQ's that Mr & Mrs IB put on, so what's the problem with a run to Husky?

Put me down for the Husky Cruise.:zlove:

I can't make it unfortunately, would love to tag along, but thems the breaks. I would have
thought that a trip down to Jervis Bay would be the bee's knee's, nice drive and a top location.

My Mrs was going to organise a cruise and whale watch to huskison not too long ago, and then our car died :(

It's just not the same crusing in a commodore. :D

    I agree......

Let Fairlady3 organise a cruise to Huskisson and if it sounds like your "cup of tea", then put your hand up and participate.

For those of you who don't want to venture past the end of your street, or have to be back in time to see the Meerkats, STAY AT HOME :bash:

Half the problem with cruises is that everyone wants to complain about the route/distance/time etc but nobody wants to get off their arse and organise anything. Lilli is proposing a cruise to Husky, so either go or shutup.

If you think you have a better idea for a cruise, then organise it for a later date and see if there is any interest.

We at the zx299 household (in Whoop Whoop Central) don't go on a lot of cruises these days (due to our location), but we think nothing of a 6hr round trip for afternoon tea at a country pub or cafe to kill an afternoon

If we were still in Sydney we would be into the Husky cruise in a flash :zlove:

The routes that steven proposed are all very enjoyable runs, the only bit which is a bit of the main track is garie beach. Its a few km down n then back up and its not much of a sight that anyone will miss. I think anything around 300-400km round trip is a pretty good run as long as we stick together otherwise goin in small individual groups isn't the best. Either way ill be interested in any cruise where ever we may go:zlove:

Thank you to those who have supported the Hussky cruise.
I will stick to the original plan, for those who are coming great!

I live in the Hawkesbury and I'm organising a long trip, so I cant see why this is a problem for others if you are TRUE ZED LOVERS it wouldnt be a problem!!.
Driving together in a convoy is what its all about, its not a race on who is going to get there first. Its about the other people who dont own one turning there heads in amazment with the baby Lambo's taking the road, We should be proud of this and the opportunities given.

So far we have 9 cars, let me know if your in or out! Simple!!

Could you provide a bit more information about the start of the route, where is this M4 Maccas exactly?

If your comming from the west i think its just before eastern creek/blacktown exit. I think an easier meeting spot is homebush bay one of the carparks there so people coming from the west stop there and people from the north stop there. Then head off on the way down and stop at loftus just before the entrance to the Royal National Park so people from the south meet up and regroup.
Then keep headin down at 100km/h so everyone sticks together:):zlove:

The M4 Maccas is on the M4 motorway at prospect( next to eastern creek gokart track) , i would say that by the route porposed it would be the east bound one ( theres one on each side off the M4 )
Also known as the twin servos , in traffic reports on radio as they share the area with Caltex,
Hopefully i'll make it , a full day in the Z sound great.
As for a 730 start, i start driving for work at 5am so it will be good to sleep in.
