Hey guy's, I am wanting abit info with the boys with Zed's around Brisbane. how do you find the cops?, get pulled over much?. my last Zed I had I was pulled over few times during the day. how is everything going on with the cops and being pulled over these days. please let me know. reason why i am asking is because i got a new Zed which needs abit work done and will on the road soon i am thinking of removing the body kit maybe that will help with the cops not pulling me over much or not taking a 2ed look at me?. keeping it nice and stoke looking. what do you guys think? keep the kit on or removeit would it make anything better?.
A lot of it depends on how you drive it, you can have a car blinged up too the max, drive it normal and no hassles off the cops. Drive it like a dick and you'll get dicked over bigtime.
Iam a bit of a spirited drive never had an issue as yet. my first car was nissan nx got pulled over all the time, then upgrade to a zed no problem go figure.

Never had a problem in the zed. Always had a problem in my laser...... Moral of the story, don't roll around in a highly modded laser.
Might be different in a major city (and I avoid 'hoon' areas like they are the plague) but ive been pulled over once becauee my car looked to low coming up a hill. He only had good things to say about the car. And im on my p's so I was expecting to bend be over the bonnet. Apart from that ive only had cops come up to my car and complement it. Cops and zeds would be the title of my last Saturday night. Managed to go out for dinner and a movie with the missus for the first time in 4 years, took the zed. Had every friggen copper in Tamworth following us around, got pulled over and asked if Id been speeding at one point, and on the way home had an escort with one car just ahead and one just behind for 40km Apparently it was a slow night for the coppers.....
If it looks clean and roadworthy and doesn't have patchwork paint with mods and pipes sticking out of the bonnet etc - you will have no problems - that simple! And mine is red - haha!

Travelling at night late gets anyone an escort! Actually its reserved for anyone travelling around late at night. The smaller the town the less traffic and given they have quotas to fill - it means anything travelling on wheels or hooves or feet becomes a target. :rofl: (Hence why stats say your 100 times more likely to get RBT tested in a small Town than travelling through Sydney!)
A cop in QLD bought a Zed. Make sure you wave at other Zeds with an obvious full hand wave, don't be lazy.
When they pulled us over in the middle of nowhere, I was watching for the copper in my mirror so I knew when to wind down my window expecting to be breathalysed etc. What I didn't see but my missus did was another copper sneak off into the dark and line themselves up with the windows with their hand on their gun. She wasn't impressed and she knew I wouldn't be either so didn't tell me till we got home. They must have been pretending they were in the US or something. It was while this was happening that the other cop car went past with another 2 more police on board and waited for us up the road so we could have our special escort home. We hadn't been speeding the entire trip because it was double demerits/zero tolerance. Who would think a car over 20 years old would attract so much "attention". Funny thing is the copper giving me grief lives across the street and her kids attend the same day care my kids do so its going to be weird next time she tries to make idle chat at day care, maybe I should try the same tact and just out of the blue ask her if she's taken any bribes
I don't think you should be approaching Mrs Cop. Your kids must be repeating all your gangsta stories at daycare
well I drive lets say a 'pretty rough' z32 . it had wheels that stuck a tiny bit past the guards, it is a little too low, sort of loud, and I drive it fairly spirited. I havnt really had any cop trouble for about 6 months (just your normal RBTs etc) , until one night me and a few mates got pulled over at Springers and got defected ... but i have to say they were being absolute pricks too us. (honestly we were being quite nice to them , and didnt say anything disrespectful). I thinks its due to the fact that 300zx's arnt really regarded as your typical Hoon jap cars like s13s and r33s so they don't really get noticed
