Hey guys, i'm thinking of buying this: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars...1252 1282 4294963846 4294963448 903&silo=1011 Got a few questions: - The owner says these are not likely genuine km as they tend to get wound back when being imported. Does this occur often? - How fuel efficient is a NA 300? On a full tank, how many KM should be expected? - Mechanically, are NA 300's reliable? Being an import, are they more likely to have problems occur? - Are parts for this car hard to find and expensive when needing to be fixed? Also anything in particular i should look for, such as common problems that can be spotted with these cars? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Oh and while I don't know NA Fuel economy, but I'm currently hovering between 12-14L per 100Km at the moment so can't possibly be more then that. But the ECU I've put in (Nistune) has still yet to be tuned so its running rather rich. MoulaZX
Hey and welcome it's common for the clock to be wound back. these cars if well maintained are bullet proof. If badly maintained they are like any other machine and will break fuel economy will hover around the 9-10ltrs per 100kms. If you give it a hard time it will chew fuel of course parts are everywhere. Around town i get at least 400-450 k's from a tank.... on the highway i have had up to 700k's from a tank...

mine was $1500,and in heaps better knick with 8 months rego,,mine had no stereo and wouldnt idle under2000grand then,,your dead right it is rough ,interior trim materail missing, ive got one in my ebay watched in the adelaide hills for $3300,with rego and 100percent better then this one
Questions answered ...... but ...... $6250 for a "Much loved car bought as a project car" Like many others here I've bought a project car for FAR LESS, mine was under $2000 and came registered.... search K1NGZ in the builds section. the car you've found ....... $3000 MAX Its rough in appearance: 1. whats with the exhaust tips ? 2. trim around speaker ? 3. gearshift looks like hell ! 4. whats the go with the ashtray lid ??? 5. multi colored rims ...... burnout car ??? 6. Pplates in the windows ......... never a good selling point ! 7. hatch glass has poor tint, non RWC by the look of it ! & its not comming with the good stereo HIDs or REGO You can do a lot better with your six and a half thou Kingy P/S on any car your looking at seriously..... get the RACV to do an inspection ( and a compression test )
I have a NA zed and i get around 450kmz a tank and that zed is not worth that much money, youre better off getting a zed that comes with rego and roadworthy and also with a few extras for a little bit extra. Always get the car and engine checked out before you buy it. The nearest NISMO specialist i go to is near thomastown maccas next to dalton road and they can always have a look for you. There is another Z that looks clean and has driven about 160,000 but has a power steering fluid leak. Could get it for around $4000 with Rego. Thinking that is a better deal. How much would the leak cost to fix?

lol nice exhausts car looks like a bucket of sh*t id expect to do alot of maintenance to that one to bring it up to scratch
