thanx for going down zorro...unfortunatly i thought u had an original z mat for him to trace....sorry for sending you down without knowing that.... so im still waiting on someone with some original z car mats to go down there for a few minutes to get him to measure them up and make the exact shape/size mats.... please pm me who ever has some front and back original z mats for him to trace in that area.... thanx....

zorro never had any zed mats....the guy measured up the floor and drew a template from what he thought would be a good fit.... obviously the majority is wanting the exact size/shape of the original z mats....and untill we get someone to drop down to his place for a couple of minutes to get him trace them then theres no original z mat template.... if anyone knows anyone around the area with some original z mats and could spare some time by going down to his place then please let me know if you guys dont care about the original size/shape of the z mats then the template he has measured up etc can be used to start orders....
nah man u do this right the first time. So whoever lives near the carpet man please go see him, as i need mats for my car, so does everyone else. So please anyone out there, see him so we all get mats too!!
Chad, if someone out there traces their own original Z mats on large paper (or even a texta outline on plastic or something) and sends it to you, would that do? If so, is anyone out there willing to help? In this way, they wouldn't have to be around the area and I doubt many would be bothered going to the area in person anyway.

ok guys i just got someone who has original z mats...so im going to trace them....but he only had front ones....i should be able to send these his way this week.... as for the back if someone has some original back z mats, pm so i can give u the address to send a template to him....would be of great help to all those wanting to order back mats.... thanx.
hey guys im sending off the template of the matts on friday.... im still very confused on where we should have the "z" located.... on the bottom, middle, or just above the bend.... to thos choosing the 300zx sign that will be located in the middle of the carpets....the embroiding is big so it will only look good there... but to those choosing the "z" style which should we go for??? opinions? atm im still choosing the one just above the bend....but what does everyone think??? with this style obviously on the passengers side it would look awsome, but on the drivers side you wouldnt really see it as much because of the pedals....or would u...lol...what u guys think???
I agree with ian about postition of the 300zx...definately bottom near the ring!! Will this be stiched embrodery or a print. Also the type of writing is it like this?? Because that would look very good, go well with indigo sills if anyone out there has em. cheers
I'm in, need front and rear I'd definitely be keen for some of these for a 2+2, I'd want the embroidery to be pretty discreet, so probably the Z emblem in silver.
CARZONE .. a couple of points ... the design they were discussing was the solo "Z" version of the mat .. check earlier in the thread for the "300zx" design proposed .. it is different from yours, although i must say that I DO like the "300ZX" that you have suggested ...:zlove: :zlove:
Oh Baz i didnt relise that red would even count as a design, its terrible lol (my opinion). I just thought it would be possible if majority is getting thers emroided with a z, could there be an option to do 300zx in the same location and be embroided to the same size of the z near the ring?? Thats all im wandering. But if its too much trouble dont worry about it, i dont want to complicate matters. cheers, Pete

ok guys i have got the ok for the locating ring.... another thing is i have also got the ok that its kool to choose where you want your z logo to go....wether it be bottom, middle, or bend.... i need to know how many mm/cm in height you guys want the z....im thinking no more than say 10mm....what do you guys think? and another thing is that if you guys want this design that too can be organised....im not sure if he will be able to stich the way that is with just the outline...or just fill the whole letter with stiching....i think this would also look better at the bottom of the carpet, and smaller than the original red huge embroiding....its up to you guys though....so if all the ones choosing the full 300zx want to go with that new design, you too can also have it at the bottom, middle etc....i need to know how many mm/cm in height you guys want the embroiding....im thinking something like no more than say 10mm in height....but once again you guys tell me how big you guys want it.... so far so good....im sending off the template tomorow, with the locating ring printed aswelll....as soon as its reached him and we've got the all clear....then ill start putting the orders through....
If thats the case, I will be up for a 2+2 "300ZX" in the same font and in silver inbroidery doesnt make a difference to me whehter it be filled in or outlined proberly easiest to fill in and also the position and size is the exact same on the pic below...(stolen from TTZ...cheers let me know how u go with it chad
chad .. you are doing great work and showing incredible patience on this top initiative ,,,, :zlove: i would love to pick up the design of carzone as a red "300zx" now that it is available, for my two seater .... will nick out to the garage shortly and do some measuring for size/outline etc and post later re final choice .. thanks again for your efforts on this ..top stuff ...

Im in Too Hi Chad, ill be in on this one too! i would like to get the design that Carzone has put foward, along the bottom, in silver stitching if possable (if not white). and having the writing about the same size as what was i the origional example shown. ill also get the rings aswell. and mine is a 2 seater.
