hey guys i know these have been in demand by many so ive got a guy who can make some for us....he works from home and makes these from home.... he has sent me a sample of his work and what we would generally be getting.... ignore that the embroidary is offset a little as this is only a SAMPLE i know im getting mine organised atm with just a "z" embroid on the carpets in cream.... he ONLY makes these in BLACK but the embroidary can be any colour you like.... i am sending him a template of my orignal z mats for him to make the exact same shape.... the price is $50 for a set of front mats and back mats... $30 for a set of front mats... it would be good if a candidate in each state can be the person who receives the mats and then everyone can pick them up from that candidate in their state... the overturn is not long maybe a couple of weeks or so, so the faster the orders are in the faster we can get these made up and sent.... THESE are not your expensive mats, or thick carpet. the embroidary will not be done on any thicker carpet he uses so he is making it with the thickest he can, and its not that thick at all....there is a cardboard feel to it if you bend it, so that what ever shape your floor is it will mold to it and stay like that.... depending on how many orders we have from each state the postage will be devided by all.... i need a candidate in eveery state except South Australia/adelaide, as these people can pick them up from the guy him self.... the "z" i will be getting embroid on the mats for mine will be the picture below in cream....im having mine put just where the floor starts to rise where the ecu are....that way i feel the stiching is less going to be affected by the feet lol...
im in for a front set of mats, but with the zed logo only...when he gets a sample done of that let me know
id like a set of front mats, do they have that rubber grip stuff so the mats dont slip, and can they be made the same size as the stock mats? cheers

Im interested and have questions: - would he be able to create a hole with a metal ring around it to fit on the non slip hook that fits in the floor and holds the mat? - when you say thickness, how many mm are we talking? - like some one asked before will these have a non slip backing - So that he is copying your mats then thers no doubt that it will fit perfect (close to etc)?? cheers

they have a non slip fabric on the back, when placed against other carpet, it does not slip at all....i spoke to him and he said this is the stuff he uses for all carpets he's ever made.... mats will be the same shape and size of the original z mats.... i have enquired about the ring and he said that he has never done that before but that shouldnt be a problem if it is wanted....he should be able to source the rings and fit them....dont know if this will upp the price or not as he does not know how much its going to cost him to source them.... i will need someone in the Paralie Suburb in South Australia to go down to his place, and let him look at the carpet and the ring, etc...if someone can do this for me please pm me....
If they're the same shape and size as originals, I'm in for a set with a 'Z' embroidered. Man I love cheap GBs.
Is it possible to get it without the embroided Z but make it thicker carpet? For example like the carpet you can buy from conceptzperformance.com If so can you put me down for black with out the Z logo but thick good quality matts front and back
i'd be keen to get in on a set with the Z logo. in ACT though so if i'm the only one i'll need to know postage. looks good though.
pm me and i will give you his phone number and ask....this would have to be a seperate order....i dont know if he does....im guessing the thicker carpets would need to be stiched up around the edges etc hence why they are so expensive because alot of work goes into them... these carpets as seen in the pic are just overlapped with a cover on the edges and sewed....like mentioned these are not your expensive carpets...they are relativly cheap but its what i want....my feet are going on them, they are going to get dirty, so i wanted something that would look good but aint gonna cost me anything/much....

ok so who here in SA is going to do the honours of going down to this guys place with an original Z carpet so he can trace it for us, and put the hole/ring in the exact same place??? he lives inn Paralie in South Australia...if someone lives close or in this suburb please pm me.... this is what im wanting my carpet to be with the Z sign...i want the "Z" sign just where the floor starts to bend.... so i need someone to go down with their zed to this guys place so he can exactly see where the carpet sits, fits and bends with the floor so we can get the "z" in the exact place.... please pm me anyone who can do this for me.... as soon as this has been done the orders will be placed...thanx
^^^HAHA yes sorry thats the correct spelling... so if anyone in that area can make a trip down to his place with their zed and an original z carpet that would be great... having the zed down at his place is essential to get the "z" put in the correct location where the floor starts to bend...
chad .. your efforts are really appreciated .. what members are not appreciating is that to move off your standard design is too add significant cost and complicate an otherwise straight forward exercise ... i would be very interested in a set of front mats for a N/A, with the red 3oozx logo .. and a suggestion regarding a contact with the supplier .. can i suggest that you pm "zorro" (kolin), an active, very switched on and supportive member who has provided heaps of assistance in the past ..???:zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
