How long will the voting be open for?

 

Well I went back and forth through this thread and the best I could find is that members can vote if they've purchased a calendar, correct?
I went to the Buy & Sell sections and I couldn't find anything for this calendar edition.
I should firstly ask, is the purchase of the calendars limited to Aussie residents as well?
If not, will it include the priviledge to vote for fellow member's Zeds as well?


And this whole bit about getting a Canadian calendar. I don't believe there's ever been one or ever will be one. There's just too few Zeds here to begin with. I'd venture to say that there's at least 5 maybe 10 times more Zeds in Australia than in Canada.
All of my Zed calendars have been from the US. It made no difference to me what origins they were (even though they were all US Zeds) as long as they were fine examples of Zeds. At least, that's all I looked to. Besides, my Zed is not exactly most of the American's cup of tea anyway. A lot turn their nose at anyone with a RHD Zed and even more so if it happens to be someone who lives in North America. Maybe that's why I felt a fairly strong bond to this Forum and it's members here. There were no prejudices or brow raising to my participation of Forum activities and I liked that.

Anyway, I look forward to the opportunity in acquiring a couple of Aussie calendars.

 

John, i highly doubt there would ANY problems at all with posting copies abroad to you mate. I think it's flattering that someone like yourself that's so far away (geologically speaking) and want to see our beloved Zeds on a calendar hanging on your wall. :zlove:

There is absolutely no problem with anyone, from anywhere wanting to purchase the calendar. You're more than welcome to put your name down for one or more.

As for not having anything in the buy/sell section, there is an EOI that has been up and running for a few months now here.

You are correct in saying that those who will be purchasing will get to have a vote on which cars they would like to see in the calendar, as I think this is the fairest way of doing it as these will be the people putting their money where their mouth is! If we had a forum wide vote, we'd be having people who have no intention of purchasing the calendar putting their 2 cents (or more) in, which would affect what those who are paying would get...

At the end of this month I will be putting up a proper for sale thread which will have more details, and will still give people a few more weeks to get their photo submissions done.

The voting wont start for a few more weeks after that, to give time to collect original files from members who are submitting photos and to prepare them for the voting process.
