Note: I have changed my final submissions.

I didn't go back to the army museum as its too far away and after tinkering in photoshop, I think I'm happy with how the Tank Demo 2 pic can be made to look. But i know those making the calender will be the ones doing the chopping where required so they all match.

HOWEVER... I have removed the image that WAS tank demo1, and replaced it with a car park shot I took last night, just to give my 4 images more range (don't need 3 tank shots).

The image, so i could replace the uploaded image prior, so it would appear in my original post, is STILL called Tank Demo1, but there is no tank in it lol.

This was actually my first practice shot. The shot I was there to take was on a ramp to the next level in the car park. However, on getting home the ramp shots weren't that good (too rushed due to possibility of cars coming lol) and this first shot was actually the best of the lot.

That said, not sure how grainy my cam has made the night shot.

meh.

So that's my final 4 in the post above. (threaded mode)

FYI, your requirements for photo's were too restrictive, so I couldn't provide anything that complied. This is not a complaint, rather than a statement. I'm still looking forward to seeing the finished result, but disappointed that I had no chance of getting my zed into it.

Thank you for the feedback, the only reason they were to 'strict' is to keep the quality of the calendar high. I'm sure we'd be getting photos from mobile phones submitted etc if this was not the case.

In most cases there will be someone in the forum who would be happy to take photos for you. I dont know where he is in relation to you, but Josh (LnP) has some great gear that he knows how to use. There are always photos from cruises from WA, so I'm sure there is someone who can help you.

There is still a month to submit photos, so you still have time to ask someone..

Thanks Andrew. I live 60 Km's south of Perth, and I think Josh is 10 or 15 Km's north.

Chris has (I think) offered his camera. I now have to think about things to work out if I could set up a photoshoot. Didn't have to worry about things previously as there was no way it would have happened.

I have to think about it.

Too bad someone didn't take some group shots on the recent cruise.

Yeah offer of my cam stands, BUT while it is a 8MP cam, its not the best cam. In fact my 4MP cam takes much better shots (due to better lense...its not always about Mega Pixels)

So if you can get hold of a better cam, do. If not my offer stands.

well finally managed to have a spare 30min on sat to take some photos with half decent light so thought it was about time I contributed to this
only one so far though, still got a few to go through so I'm keeping my options open!

just my two cents (really sorry if this was done and buried) but imho to me this calendar is sort of a dedication to australian 300zx's, its our time to show off our stuff, not saying that at another time a worldwide calendar couldnt be arranged or that the overseas member aren't wonderful people or that they don't have stunning examples of ZX's, i just think that this one is for us to sit there and look at and know that those cars are somewhere out there in this beautiful country of ours, where you could possibly hop in your car, go for a cruise and then presto, that car looks aweful familiar i remember seeing that somewhere, get home, sit at your desk, look towards the calendar and hey thats where i saw it XD ok going a bit over the top here but i think you get my point...
