[AUS] ZED FEST EASTER...

And cabin 4 is mine , Can't wait!

 

cabin 0 is mine ,, 7:30pm and not answering the phone!!



MISSY .. just called me back, cabin 17 is mine ... ... there is ONLY 1 bunkhouse left .....

looks as if some will have no choice than head for the motel....

 

I've rung and booked for 2... just wondering if it's normal to be asked for credit card details at this stage???

and by the looks of things, good thing we did nice and early cause these sites will probably book out very quickly.

So going by the booking statistics, we can have a maximum amount of 52 people TOTAL in the place without resorting to the "Bunkhouse". Hmm, well i'd say that we would probably be booked out pretty soon so I hope there is close accommodation otherwise.

I'm assuming there is nowhere closer to town than this to suit this size booking, if so they are probably booked out already anyway. (busy time of year)

Anyway, it doesn't matter where we stay cause we always make it fun from the company we keep! so, i'm sooooo looking forward to seeing some familiar faces again and talking nothing but Zeds! Simply cannot wait! :zlove:

Cabin 6 is mine

Scored it at 2pm this afternoon. :biggrin: Caz and I (not Caz1 - my Carolyn, who has been know as Caz for the 36 years I have been married to her) can't wait. Coona was great, this looks like it could be even better.

For my imminent 60th birthday, my family had put together a special present of a week in Osaka for Caz and I with tickets each day for the Grand Sumo tournament. I am a mad Sumo fan - who said Zed enthusiasts were predictable in their tastes. I get 15 DVDs of the action every two months.

However, I am putting the Sumo trip off as it clashes with ZedFest Cowra. Wouldn't miss it, either of us.

Mine and Wykked's 40th is in that week. We are travelling up on Wykked's actual B/day and mine is the week after.
We plan to have a bit of a bash the weekend after easter.

Turns out that Missy is the sister of some other friends that live in the same place as me.

PS: The way these cabins are going off, I may well end up in a tent on the lawn!

 

I really cant book this far in advance sadly, I dont want to take up a spot then come easter I cant make it. I guess I'll just have to wing it, if there's accomidation available at the time there is, if there isn't there isn't.

Looks like the park is now full (besides the bunk house). Where else is everyone else staying? I could just book anywhere, but would rather stay in the same spot as other Z's.

Then again, I could stay with anyone of my family members who live in Cowra, but then I would have to talk to them

would be good to hear some updates on the accommodation situation me thinks.

If i were you, i'd just post up your interest in looking for a bed in someone's cabin and see if people post up vancancies for their cabins.

 

Well Ben it is a van park so there maybe some 'Vancanicies' available too

It clearly states towards the end, the following:

"your next closest option is the Alabastar Motel 02 6342 3133 and speak to Ian."

Perhaps this slight oversight on your part might remedy your accomodation problems. :banned:

and secondly is there a Stamford Hotel in Cowra mmm

Mate, this is a Small Country Town & I know the local pub isn't going to be a 4-5 star City Hotel, nor is it going to be called "The Stamford".

Zed Fest is at Easter 2008. :thumbup:
This is a Bi-Annual Event & this coming year (2008) its at Cowra - NSW.
So, try booking for Good Friday, Easter Saturday & Easter Sunday, just for starters.
