The part I dont understand is why they would leave something like that unsigned. Its just ridiculous.

Toll ipec did the same thing with my twinz rear bar, except they took it to the wrong business address, dropped it outside after hours, without signing obviously, knocked it around & lost the diffuser fins. A lot of these companies are beyond useless...

Mine turned up, hope yours does too!

Have you ever had anything that you signed an authority to leave slip for? Because on the FedEx one there is a section where it allows you to authorise all future deliveries to be left without signing.

Either that or the driver faked a signature and marked it as 'delivered' so it doesn't take up space in his truck, and don't need to take it around again the next day.

    nah Felix, never signed anything!
there was no authority to leave it there and UPS themselves admitted that.

no matter what, it says 'delivered - left at front door' and if taking the drivers word it was stolen, if it wasn't stolen it was never delivered. both of which is UPs fault, as I never signed nor saw my item.. let's hope they replace the item ASAP.

Fck Rodsta, that's some shitty luck bro. Don't back down and keep grilling UPS, this is clearly their fk up.

I'll keep my eyes open mate, I often still browse zed shit on ebay, gumtree, firesport, etc, if someone took it, firesport is probably the most likely place it'll surface..

Doubt a random would steal it to be honest man... It's a very big thing to tuck under your arm an walk down the street.

Something like that there shoulda been insurance on it?

But plane and simple u have to sign for everything... We have covered this so when you next speak simply don't leave the phone or better yet their office until you see a copy of the signature, if they cannot produce that then say replace it or you will seek legal advice

me either, it's a massive box and one person woudbt be able to just pick it up!
the police said it's tricky as i MAY be the victim, as the bar may not have been delivered,
and if has and was stolen then UPS are the victims!

but the driver said he has, life's gay! as for insurance, I paid 700 us postage, and recieved nothing, i won't be going quietly on this, I want a full replacement of my bar!

This sucks. I'm a motorbike postie, you'd be surprised what some little opportunistic terds will run off with. I know of a kid who would just steal people's mail out of the boxes for the hell of it.

I don't know what delivery company you used on this end of things, but in your shoes I'd ask them to look at the driver, see if he has any other complaints against him of similar nature. Wouldn't be the first one to knock stuff off. Not to point fingers too readily... but it pays to cover all your bases.

Whether it was delivered then stolen, or nicked by the courier is almost a moot point (though I understand you'd want to know who the hell did that), but the company is responsible either way - they MUST replace the bar because they didn't follow proper procedure, providing that you didn't allow for unsigned drop-off.

It will then be up to the company to hold their own internal investigation to determine what happened - but that shouldn't hold up your claim for full replacement. Hopefully this will make them tighten their delivery and/or courier hiring process. Hope it works out soon!

Go for a walk down your street. I know you feel it was left at your place but i know a few couriers who are unable to read real well so maybe it's on next doors porch.

Like I said, go to the office or warehouse and ask to see your signature on the paperwork, it's all in their system, if they cant produce it then find out why not, focus on the athority to leave rather than the loss of the item...

Also people steal this shit just for the "fun" of it, it could just be dumped somewhere.

Ever watched swift and shift. That thing could be freakin anywhere!

I the po po and ups won't help, give consumer affairs a call. They would have the power to make them replace it, if they feel you are entitled to it. Sound like you got a fight on your hands now. Good luck with it.

I definitely think you've got the upper hand in this one, Rod. Go hard or go home!

There are a lot of Zeds in our area mate, and I've spoken to a few owners that aren't on the forum.
Hopefully we'll see it soon enough and they'll get what's coming to them.

be honest... if a kid stole it as if they would know what car it fits or who to sell it too...

    this isn't some mastermind conspiracy

Mate, i had this exact same thing happen with my clutch and flywheel. first UPS sent it to my old Address somehow, some chick apparently signed for it and it was stated delivered and signed for on UPS site. but after a lot of crap and wasted phone calls with UPS. i traced it down to to Australian Air Express Depot in Brisbane. it was never signed for or delivered. it was taken back to the AAE Depot with wrong Adress sticker. no phone call or nothing. ups argued for days with me that it was signed and delivered and it would take weeks for a investigation. so my advise for you would be, if you havent already done it. ring your Australian Air Express depot and give them your consignment number. or even better try the AAE website it will show up if its in a depot.
    good luck
    Cheers
    Darren.

I had a mate pick up Rod's old 2k spec bar, managed to get it into a facon sedan.

Only barly fit and would have been an uncomfortable 2 hour drive.

I doubt it would fit if it were in a box though

    On another note,
id also be checking out sites like gumtree
    and other sale sites.

if the dick who stole it had any clue, ebay would be a bad idea for such a unique item.

I just hope it turns up undamaged, and the person/people responsible get what they deserve.
