Lol, saying they drive "BMWs and Porsches" doesn't really say much. So what if they drive a 914 and a 318? I would take the zed over either of those.

I have nothing against slicktops, I've driven zeds in almost every config, NA Slicktop, NA targa, TT slicktop, TT targa, all appeal for different reasons.

I personally couldn't care who thinks what of my car, I have a 2seater TT targa, which I'm converting to stock, and will probably get an NA 2+2 in the future to complement the current car

But saying your friends "laugh at targas" ? Well, I laugh at their WHOLE cars!

When and I havent bagged out targa's once I listed some faults that could go wrong (and the look) is why I prefered a slicktop is ALL damn, when I was looking for a zed it didnt matter either way I wasent looking for a slicktop in general but this one was in the best condition out of every zed I had looked at so I bought it, and when I think back my 1st test drive was in a 2 seater TT hardtop which I wanted to buy, just didnt have 30k to spend at the time.

But yeah I guess now I've felt abit of both feel I just love them, and yeah would love a black TT slicktop mmmm

Yeah I agree in every aspec, of the above comment like I have said, and the only reason I mentioned my friends about the whole targa = chicks love it , is personally I dont know people like that is all, they prefer the hardtops looks over a targa, thats all I said and they all laughed and me also (they were drunk) cause yeah the targa's came out ages ago so I guess they were just thinking dated? Like I said not really my view on it , but then again I'd kinda laugh at a lambo targa'd cause I just aint use to it. (Like they arent I guess)

Yeah but didnt mean to offend targa owners out there, I love all 300zx's, after all they are a 300zx, just like certain people like certain brands on their cars and others dont all personal choice, the roof sure as shit didnt attract me to the 300zx in the first place.

 

How is that logical? targa's are somehow outdated but a slick top isn't? are you aware of the history of the automobile?

Dont ask me on others points of view wasent logic was a point of view, and targa's are a style, they go in and out I assume is what they meant, but if you read all my other stuff you'd know I'm not against targa's so *Shrugs*

 

at the end of the day you are friends with people who drive skylines, corollas, 318's and 944s and think they have opinions on anything automotive related

you on the other hand have excellent taste and thats why you own a zed. time to get some new mates
