Looks the same as ebay/otomoto/kkr spec'd parts.

    Cool lambo though.

If you read the phrasing it clearly states that it was recently added to the PAS MAG Facebook page.

For those interested the GTR is still running this set-up without hick-ups after several track events and daily driving.

Oh for sure. No doubt it doesnt. Just when i saw the items they looked identical to the parts ive bought from the venders i mentioned. :) And actually to be honest. The parts are all working well, without issues.

So kudos. At least their name is on parts that seem to be doing the intended jobs without fault.

yeah, about that, should maybe have a bit of a search & see some feedback on their suspension parts.

Few photos recently on 300zxclub that would indicate otherwise, like the rucas covered in corrosion brand new in box via z1 (replacements were rusted too!) or the tension rods covered in rust & corrosion after 5 months use. Even a mod there had his tension rods covered in 4 months. & check out the product review section for feedback on some of their other items. Ams strangely silent on all issues though.

Honestly I completely understand if people need cheaper options but why not just buy the ebay gear, its exactly the same with out the ams markup.

I had heard about the issues but could that just be bad luck by this particular vendor. Yes, you'd hope being the inflated cost over eBay spec versions for example, would yield a better conditioned product. But it all comes from the same place. Unfortunately these guys got the ass end of the deal. Perhaps the main reason these guys get burnt so often is they promote their products quiet alot to get the name out. And when faults occur, people to point the finger at the noisy ones...

Perhaps I should revise my earlier comments. But for what products we own and use, that are identicle to the ams gear. We have had nothing but good luck with the products. We have eBay spec front uppers and otomoto castor rods. Just as good as the day we installed them. Years ago.

Those are corrosion issues which we dealt with even the moderator. Anything with a chrome finish that is introduced to certain solvents especially in Winter and rainy conditions will flake over time. Storing them in a damp environment will also promote rust. The structural integrity of the part is not affected rather the appearance. Powder coating is an option for the future which actually costs less and can last slightly longer depending on the environmental conditions. Our warranties have always been posted online and legitimate clients with claims will be dealt with accordingly:

    http://www.amsmotorsports.com/shop/ind/more/warranties-legal.html

The reviews which were negative are those same individuals and or their friends who are constantly posting on the whinebaby thread as well. They have never contacted us regarding a warranty claim and have chosen tp instead bash. Every vendor should be afforded the opportunity to deal with any claim and if it is unsatisfactory then the experience could be noted. This is the case with all the other vendors when there is a warranty claim. I have personally seen every major vendors product go through a claim since 1992 and always encourage the client contact them direct before bashing in a post.

    Just pointing out some insights.

    Regards,

    Vuk@AMS

What so this could happen to anyone?

You haven't dealt with the moderator as he's stated a few times the parts are still on the car (he has a few) & at the 4 month mark he's ready to bin them & get spl.

The reviews aren't from 'the haters', they're from general users that have purchased one of your parts & had it fall to bits within a very short time frame, most haven't bothered to contact you as they've had the realisation that they want quality parts. Tie rods, brake pads, O2's, pulleys that are up to 6 degrees out. They're all there, generally with photos of said failed product, for anyone that wants to do some research before buying from you.

    Spin that.

Lidz, how do we know that the photo you have posted here is in fact an AMS arm, and how do we know that it is straight out of the box?

I'm not saying that it isn't, but I am not saying that it is either...

lol, have I owned ams parts, your funny.

Mike there was a series of photos chucked up on 3zc, the above is one, with the user saying this is the issue, have made a warranty claim via z1 (point of purchase) & replacement was rusted. They weren't one of the usual suspects, just a random member, but then they didn't have a photo of receipt either.

Anyway buy whatever brands you want, just do your research over a few sites first & enjoy whatever suits.

Cheaply powder coating things like suspension arms isnt a good idea either. Get a chip in the PC and it'll rust from the inside out (still it may look fine untill it fails) The Powdercoating process can also weaken the convalent bonding of certain metals too.

Moderator has been dealt with :) He tried contacting our automated e-mail and did not get a reply and hence he was frustrated. Simple PM and follow-up e-mail resolved the issue very efficiently for both parties. As stated before every vendor has an issue at some point. I always try and ask people about direct experiences rather than recycling the same pictures and other peoples opinions usually by the same bashers. You are free to give us your direct experience as well?

    Thanks!

This dynamics posted here is why this forum is the best Z32 site going.

This actually does sound more like a plug though than a suspension thread - based on your own first post

I actually would like to see any suspension parts that are faulty posted here -regardless of manufacturer, so please post away as this can only be helpful to all of us here at the forum

    Regards all
