I understand where you are coming from too, but if I bought injectors from someone and they did not mention broken pintle/connector etc... then I wouldn't be impressed also.

I just gave away some rose joint suspension parts. One of the arms had movement in the rose joint, but looked perfect. I could have easily sold them by your logic and say it cost bugger all to get a new rose joint and I sold them cheap blah blah blah, but I am not that sort of person. If sh!t needs replacing/fixing on an item that is being sold, it SHOULD be mentioned.

If you know something isn't in as new condition it is common courtesy to mention it.

Usually pics of said items would constitute mentioning a fault.
I've seen plenty of stuff for sale on here which a keen eye picks up, which the seller is either too sneaky, naive, or uneducated to notice. 'Midori' camber arms may not be midori. Momo steering wheel may not be momo. Veilside front bar may not be veilside. UAS front bar may in fact be carmate front bar  ... we all get the idea.

Pintle caps can break in the engine by them selves, doesn't need neglect to occur.

Who does an un-boxing of 300zx parts anyway

Just checked the cost of new series 2 injectors -$165USD. Each. Plus post (minimum $30USD).

    Certainly puts things in perspective.

    quality injector pics

    Interesting to read everyone's comments.

I know i wouldn't attempt to sell injectors in this condition to anyone.

I know that i certainly wouldnt buy any in this condition - if i had seen them first or been told about their defects.

    Who here would by these?

The problems with the broken bits are not simply replaced with a service, nor do they magically fix themselves in the sonic bath...

I never said pintle cap -because there are none....

Injectors with with broken needles and connectors are thrown away. you cannot repair them.

I was told that the injectors were good and working when removed from the car.

The Famous SIG... " Parts you buy from me are second hand unless otherwise stated. I am not a shop, there is no warranty expressed or implied!"

Just because your ad says no warranty - that doesn't give you the right to scam people.

99% of parts sold here are used - no one expects a warranty - just a bit of decency from fellow enthusiasts

all the excuses for not posting parts after taking money - or not responding to everyone who have tried to contact you, the reply given regarding the state of the rubbish i received.

i think the conduct and attitute is clear for the whole web to see

so take a look at the rubbish sent to me.

who wants this rubbish?? - its yours free - It will be getting scrapped.

See what you mean regarding the broken injector -have you sent these pics to Abdul to discuss?

If you got five useable injectors and a rail for $80 you've still done pretty well. To buy it all new would be $1500 at least. I understand your frustration but all things considered you're still a long way in front. I realise some may argue that that's not the point.

You have Abdul's phone number yeah? Give him a call, explain the damage to the injector and why it's now a throw away item, and see what the two of you can work out.

I stand buy earlier comments I do not believe he is the kind of guy to intentionally rip anyone off, but all the "**** you" "no **** you" doesn't help an amicable resolution. You could also ask a mod to contact him on your behalf -sometimes a neutral third party is all that's needed when dealing with disputes.

Also Nem isn't the type to rip anybody off either.

HA! me scamming people? 95% of the bits i sell are to locals, ALL of them know where i live and most of them know me very well. Guess what? they all come back for more bits when i have things in stock because they know i give them hundreds of dollars worth of parts for VERY little money. That and most of the time i pull my own daily zed apart for those bits to be tested if they work.

Seeing those injectors like that chances are it may have been damaged in post, because if those are the injectors out of Abduls black series 2 they were working as i drove the car they were in. Two scenarios, damage from removal or damage in post. Take your pic.

    Cheers Rob.

Only 4 injectors are intact - condition unknown until serviced... as for the other 2....1 has broken needle, 1 other broken connector.

Take a look at the rail tube bent around the broken connector in the pics - rails are pretty shagged too.

Thanks for your comments - everyone means well by saying to keep contacting him i know - but this has gone beyond reasonable effort to contact. And yes, i called him straight after i received the injectors and his attitute is the same as he presents himself here. I asked him to return my money and i will post this rubbish back - he refused...

Sorry SRB2NV - i grabbed that quote thinking it was part of alan300zx post as it was attached as quote...

My Bad - no intent to bad mouth you or your reputation here or anywhere.

I have never bought or sold parts to you.

My Apologies - please forgive me

No worries man, water under the bridge. Personally if i had sold that set of injectors it would be "suit repair or for parts". I thought you just meant broken pintle caps.

Holy hell, for that price im going to go take my top feed rail to get copied. Anyone interested in top feed rails with brand new rochester 1000cc injectors? I can source new 1000cc top feeds for less than $100 each, add in adaptors and injectors it should be do-able for a smidge under $1000

I told you send it back and once I receive it I'll refund your money
Their second hand 20 year old parts pintle caps and a broken connector isn't a big deal for what you paid you would be lucky to get s2 fuel rails for that price

I told you they were in great working order whilst in my car and I have had several forum members drive it as well to prove, I'm not liable for what happens with auspost regardless like I said send the parts back and I'll refund your money just like I did with simlenton

    Its only $110

Who buys 20 year old injectors and doesn't service them before fitment?? If I were buying these I would expect that the pintal caps would be bust. The get very brittle and are easily cracked by this stage... As said above, pintal caps a next to nothing to buy!

$110 bucks for a full set of S2 injectors and rails?! And you want your money back because of a pintal cap??? When they will be replaced apon a service that you SHOULD be performing on old used injectors....lmfao

I hate commenting on things that don't affect me, but when I read stuff like this I just can't help myself.

If you cared to actually read the replies and click & view one of the pictures it would be clear that one (or more) of the injectors has broken. If you are buying what is advertised as a full set of injectors in working order and receive parts that don't work, then I too would want a refund.

My advice for you would to be to read the thread before giving your expert opinion and laughing your fat arse off.

Oh geez I completely missed all the photos. I replied to what was above as it should up on my screen as the newest posts, I assumed they hadn't been posted yet. Plus the thread was broken up and hard to follow.

My apologies, I usually don't do this

That said! I found the pics below and completely understand the issue now...they are terrible!

BUT! why the heck did the member ask for photos of the parts he was buying? If no photos are supplied or only photos of poor quality and not detailed enough are supplied, it's up to the buyer to ask for better quality and higher detailed photos. Buyer beware....

Poor advertisement of parts by seller

    Poor common sense from buyer
