Im not the sort to publicly criticise any member on the forum...but.....I purchased a driveshaft from Alan300zx a number of weeks ago, paid for the item and have been waiting for the item ever since. He keeps texting me saying that its been picked up by the courier, but then doesnt answer my requests for the name of the courier company or the con note details. I have since been contaced by a number of other members who are all experiencing the same situation with Alan300zx.....Just want people to be aware of this situation........I hope that Iam proven wrong and that the driveshaft is delivered soon...but I suspect that this may be a scam...hope Im proven wrong Simon

Hopefully it'll work out OK, things do go astray & missing with couriers. The last thing we need is another LOWZX type.

Im not wanting to cast anyone in a negative light..i have been scammed before and it concerns me that I know that a number of other members are having the same issue.....I really hope Im wrong and if Iam i will be the first to acknowledge it.....
Also met him a couple of times, bought items from him, he's bought items from me, came across as genuine and trustworthy. So for now I'd say give him the benefit of the doubt, there may be a very valid reason why he's been unable to respond.
Yep, Im waiting on parts too - set of injectors, I paid up immediately...he text etc that he has sent the parts. Then he said courier delayed... but provides no courier name or tracking number ???? now hearing nothing from him...
I spoke to him on the phone last week and again today, but still have nothing, he said he was going to call the couriers tomorrow so I will wait a bit longer Linton

I've got a similar problem with you rob. I've paid you $240 for bolts etc. You said you would send them on 18/11 but it is now 14/12 and I have not got them yet. You too seem like a pretty straight up guy so I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, as it is highly plausible they are lost in the mail. (Aus post refuse to drive up my long drive and deliver things - even though FedEx etc have no problem - but they usually send a note to collect from post office). One package sent from NZ took 2 months to get here, so yours might be doing something similar. Never the less I have sent you 2 PMs and one reply in the original buy thread none of which you have responded to. Even if its is lost in the mail it would be great if you could confirm and let me know that you have sent them (though it would be a ton better if you would confirm that you haven't sent them yet and I can pick them up from you - I should have remembered AusPost never deliver). If you have sent it would be good if you had some sort of tracking number so AusPost could be pursued. What ever the issue communication would be great (sorry to go public like this but like I said my PMs are being ignored).
Dude you sent me your address 5:36 Thursday night, I didn't have a chance to get to a post office on Friday but they'll go out Monday. Can't ask for more than that. Oh and yes parts paid for but not postage which I have already said I will request after they have been sent. Plenty of "good faith" on my part and no cause for complaint on yours. I must have sold you twenty or more parts by now, you should know that you'll get exactly what you paid for and that all care will be taken to get if to you in pristine condition. And before anyone suggests it no I don't keep track of peoples addresses -you haven't given me permission to store your personal details and even I did have them it would incredibly negligent for me to send a parcel to an address other than one you have explicitly specified for delivery.
